Where Were You....
When the Summer came You were not around, Now the Summer's gone and Love cannot be found Where were You when I needed You...Last Winter... When the Winter came You went farther South Departing from Love's nest Leaving me in doubt Where were you when I need You like Right Now.... Our Love is at an end but you say now you have changed but Tomorrow will reflect Love's past.... When the winter came You were not around through the bitter winds Love could not be found Where were you when I needed You Last Winter... (Superwoman lyrics--Stevie Wonder)
I knocked and I shouted over and over again for Her to open the door and let me in let me in stood in the rain with naught but my pain and ol' Indigo said Never again...
(That Night, Indigo Did Not Save My Life)

Next Lifetime
"Next lifetime" is merely a resignation of effort. It is so easy to say what won't ever be, rather than focusing on what is to come-should we truly want it bad enough. Next lifetime says, welp--for now, all may be lost, but my chances may be better next time. True, they might be, but what if they could be better...now? I don't want you next lifetime, though my lips have spoken thus--my heart, feels otherwise. What I want....sigh. What I want is for there to exist eternal sunshine between our souls, Woman. What I want is to be free to frolic with you in any state of being, in every moment. What I want...is to waltz with you on the tails of cosmic strings to the pulse of love and Life, in the middle of the afternoon on a distant moon, where the weight of this world's worry holds no sway... What I want...is to share infinite Todays with my soul's twin-in a place where we define what romance and passion's expressions mean to us. What I want...is Living Poetry! I want our Happy to be the bedrock of redefinition and paradigm shifts. What I want...WHO I want...is my complement, to know and embrace my vulnerability, to SEE Me and my surrender as unconditional. I do NOT wish to wait till next lifetime, for I have traversed ten thousand scores of lives to touch You. And I Will Not Settle.... #wind
Love Letter #4
i could write poems just on the gleam of your beautiful ebony skin...and my pen still would not have sufficient ink,
i don't even feel that words could do such a feat justice.
But understand, that if there is a word more beautiful than beautiful--you are clothed in it...

Thoughts from A Single Man...
I should be able to express (reasonably) that I find a woman to be magnificent, beautiful--without having to qualify my intentions. I'm a poet, and I express in a unique and colorful manner, but sometimes you just feel like shouting to the highest heavens: "DAMN! Mine eyes have been blessed this day!" Have I said or alluded to a desire to disrobe you, with or without consent? Absolutely not. EVEN if by some chance you excite the chemicals in my body to reveal me as "being happy to see you"--I would hope that this wouldn't qualify me as a creepy (or what do you people love to use in an over abundance??? Oh yes--THIRSTY!) perv. I can't even look at you without having an existential debate within myself, interrogating the fuel behind and beneath my visually celebrating you, when in actuality--you're just beautiful, and you caught my eye. (Disclaimer: That beauty in some unfortunate instances quickly fades when lips part and the individual chooses....to...speak. This is a very crucial moment I like to refer to as either a dream builder, or dream crusher.)

When it comes to hypocrisy of the heart--saying what I feel is or will protect me from being hurt by the allowance or surrender to vulnerability--I am no stranger.

Ideally, I'd love for her uterus to do somersaults when She thinks of me in random moments... I'd love to know that she hums a cute jingle at the sight of my picture, or that she imagines each sud in her bubble bath as my embrace...

it's raining and there are no scratches in my back. that's a serious problem!

my memories are a song of melancholy and sensuality, bathed in a blues of colorful grey hues, clothed in rain drops dancing against the window of my soul... They are walks alone through parks where the rustling of fallen leaves and passing things illustrate the canvas of Autumn, and Autumn is my teacher, forever reminding me of the single most important lesson:
of how I must let go.

May each of my deeds today be of and for the Highest Good for myself, and All who are involved.

Remember, Remember the 5th of November The gun powder treason and plot, I know of no reason why the gun powder treason Should ever be forgot...
(A poem for Guy Fawkes)
She, the Autumn Spring that never was, dew kiss of Morning clinging to the edge of yester-morrows, the song of silent sorrows. And I the forlorn, heart broken, war torn...walk amongst the dead and the dying, seeking a sign of life's worth upon barren Earth, seeking through my deepest dark, searching for that spark of hope hurting, all the while.

The things you remember... scent hair smiles Conveniently inconvenient, these moments of reflection.
When was the last time you made love? Had sex? Masturbated?
Answer: longer than I'd care to admit. My body has cabin fever.
