I can’t remember where but I read somewhere that this guy used to buy gifts for his future partner, whenever he’d go any place new he’d pick up a little something, whenever he saw something nice, he’d get it for her. And there’s this girl who writes him letters every now and then even if she’s still got no idea of his existence–whether or not she already met him or if their paths have already crossed in this dunya. But her longing, her excitement to meet him, and the beats of her heart are all transcribed in her letters. She doesn’t want him  to miss anything while Qadar is yet to bring them together, thus writing became her means of talking to him. Sometimes, she wonder–how was it possible that she grow attached to someone she might have never met yet, someone she might barely know? It’s a strange feeling. It’s as if she has known this person for lifetime when in fact, she’s not even sure of his identity. But her letters will prove that she already loved him even before meeting him, even before his arrival in her life. :)
