We all know Kimbra got a huge up rise after her collaboration with Gotye. I'm more than glad she got the attention she deserves for but at the same time I feel kinda sad because her talent goes way beyond that "one hit wonder". This live performance of withdraw puts it more than clear that Kimbra is one of our most amazing contemporary indie singers. The Rhodes keyboard along with her voice combine in this perfect way which tell us that sometimes simple is better. This is the very first time I post a video and the reason of that is her singing demeanor. The way she moves and sing just makes this track a more than pleasant experience. I've kept this track selfishly for months and think that its about time to get this one out there for you. El Guincho is actually named Pablo Díaz-Reixa. He is a Spanish musician who has created this interesting sound, mixing elements from all over the world like the tropical sounds found in Bombay and electronic beats, all this in a 80s/90s mood that suits the lo-fi environment of the tracks. The result is this danceable and catchy track. Hope it doesn't bother you the fact that it's sang in Spanish.
