twd threw away carl/michonne’s dynamic in favor of rick/michonne and it’s not fucking fair. carl was the person who michonne trusted enough to tell about her past. carl told michonne things that he wouldn’t even tell his dad. remember when michonne saw that carl and rick were okay in 409 and she started crying? and when rick answered the door he said “it’s for you” to carl? remember when michonne held carl all night after he was assaulted? remember when michonne went back into the restaurant to get carl the picture of his mother? remember michonne bringing back comics for carl? remember carl sharing candy with michonne? remember how michonne is both carl’s best friend AND his mother?

their relationship is so god damn important and was tossed needlessly out the window. they’ve had a total of maybe three scenes in the last two seasons. it isn’t fair to carl’s character, but it also isn’t fair to michonne’s character. michonne loved carl more than anything. i don’t know why rick/michonne is so prioritized over their relationships with carl and judith. we can talk about rick’s lack of screentime with his kids another day but i’m so genuinely upset about carl/michonne because they were so god damn important. fuck twd. fuck scott gimple. fuck.
