going on about how vaccines don’t work and how fully vaccinated people shouldn’t be Doing Activities is still a form of vaccine science denialism even if you believe in covid and aren’t an anti vaxxer imo. talking about concerns that are actually true is one thing, but i see so much of people spreading medical misinformation and undermining public confidence in vaccines seemingly to protect people from covid, and it helps no one.
I hate a "I'm fully vaccinated but i'm still gonna wear a mask because I don't trust y'all" bitch
What's there not to trust? Vaccines work, and it's dangerous to insinuate otherwise.
yeah like, i don’t think it’s bad to keep wearing a mask if you’re fully vaccinated as a thing for the comfort of other people who don’t know if you’re vaccinated or not, or just a personal anxiety thing, but i see so many posts like this that are just flat out untrue and only work to spread misinformation about the efficacy of vaccines and what they do.
if the untrue statement of ‘vaccines only protect you and not others’ is a dangerous thing to say when your anti vax Facebook uncle posts it, it’s equally dangerous on a site with no way to stop the spread of a post once it’s been reblogged.
(also on a personal level it’s just incredibly frustrating when people scold others for doing perfectly safe activities based on misinformation and ignoring the actual science. )
YEPPPP
Vaccines have never been 100% effective, also you should keep wearing yours because you are ugly 😌
