Oh, my sweet love. You are the manifestation of my heart. That very moment you were placed on my chest, there was nothing more incredible than you. From those tiny fingertips, to each and every crease on you little, quivering lips. The most gorgeous sight I’d ever laid my eyes on. There you were, and there I was. Astonished, and in tears, the greatest moment of my life was the day you were born. In a matter of moments I learned true, unconditional, and outstanding love. I gained gratitude with a purpose. I held my entire life in my arms, at just barley 4 pounds, and absolutely beautiful. Elijah Blue, that’s where my journey into motherhood began.
