My name is Ramy, Iām 22 years old from northern Gaza, and I am the oldest brother of four younger brothers and one little sister who rely on me completely. Our home was destroyed during the war, and since then we have been living in a fragile tent with no safety, no stability, and often not enough food. Iāve searched everywhere for work to support my family, but I simply cannot find a job š
Every day, I watch my younger siblings grow weaker from hunger and exhaustion. Even our dog, who has always been part of our family, has lost so much weight because I can no longer provide food for him either. The hardest moments are at night when my siblings ask me when life will become normal again, and I have no answer except patience and prayer.

I am not asking for luxury ā only a chance to protect my family and restore a little dignity to our lives. Any support, no matter how small, can help provide food, medicine, and hope for my brothers and sister šš¤ Even sharing our story means the world to us.

We always share bad news, so what about some good ones?
This week in Brazil, after over a year of constant efforts, we abolished the 6x1 workweek. And we only got this victory thanks to a trans woman and a gay man!!!!
Erika Hilton and Rick Azevedo fought so, so hard for this. The congresswoman and the activist led this movement, they got the whole country to fight for this, until the rest of the house (mostly right-wing) had to cave in and approve the bill. It's almost as if politicians fear the people ;)
Ofc we still have to get it approved by the Senate, but this is HUGE. People will be able to work less, rest more, without pay cuts!
The lower house passed the amendment, known as PEC 221/19, in two rounds late on Wednesday. The first vote was 472 to 22 and the second 461

I have always wondered why so many people have depression and many of them literally seem to be unbothered / unphased by it. Is this propaganda I have absorbed? Are the majority actually being silenced in the loony bins or in estrangement and isolation while the powerful few somehow have a handle on the narrative that actually gets attention?
