Because life is strange like that, yes yes. Tumblr home for Fayeth Elieaux, Gilgamesh server's least-likely Elezen adventurer (FFXIV). Feel free to poke me here, or ask for my Discord info!
It occurred to me that my RP Info page doesn’t show up on the app, and having tried to simply link it, I have been informed that doesn’t do it either. So here, instead (and kept below a cut for your sake and mine), is some mostly useless info on the world’s least likely Elezen adventurer!
《 AT A GLANCE 》
Name: Fayeth Elieaux
Gender: Female
Race: Elezen (Ishgardian)
Age: 30
Height: Short for an Elezen, which is still taller than most
Eye Color: Grey
Hair Color: Blonde, fair enough to look white in places. Or maybe she just earned those streaks the old-fashioned way, given her former employer’s penchant for trouble
Notable Physical Features: Freckles across her face, with some on her shoulders as well
Build: Thin, with some lean muscle
《 PERSONAL INFO 》
Name Day: 10th Sun of the 2nd Astral Moon
Occupation: Formerly a maidservant, friend, and co-conspirator (willing or otherwise) to a minor noble of House Dzemael. Perhaps better known as an archer and extremely grumpy healer now, though that past does occasionally show through. Natural skill and patient teachers have helped in her adventures; her father long ago gave up trying to stop her and instead made sure she was not hopeless at defending herself. There are rumours that she dances. Anyone who claims to have seen her sing or dance is clearly a liar, her former charge included.
Sexual identification: Bisexual
Alignment: Good, but not thrilled about any of this
Relationship Status: Taken
Family: A mother who is a baker, and a father who was a footman in the service of House Dzemael - a sergeant, whose whereabouts are unknown following events at the Darkhold. She is the eldest child, with two younger brothers, both of whom she had a hand in raising, both of whom she taught to shoot, and both of whom… Are far more like their father than their sister or mother would like. One is currently an apprentice at the Skysteel Manufactory. The other is missing along with their father.
《 FAVOURITES 》
Favourite food: The small, sweet cakes that her mother’s customers would argue over
Favourite drink: Ishgardian tea, black coffee, or mulled wine (she might even share her grandmother’s recipe, if she likes you)
Favourite weather: A heavy snow, whether indoors or out
Favourite scent: Cherry blossom
Favourite flower: Cherry blossoms, though lavender has a special place
I could write a whole story about this nameless knight, far from home, standing alone and refusing to yield. In this moment, he is thinking of home, and of Ishgard. Rescue is a stark surprise.
What happens next is likely written off as a near-death experience. Maybe he remembers the woman - what was she, a Dzemael maidservant at one point? But then, there she is - directing, ordering, and turning her attention to him, and... He sees her. A hallucination, surely. But it stays with him.
(Special thanks to @maxikha-ffxiv for the amazing pics of Jules and Fayeth as avatars of their patron deities that has made this idea get stuck in my head for a long time now. I'm hoping to do more posing stuff and experimenting more in the future!)

Like the restoration of Ishgard, the orphanage Myles had decided to turn his home into was coming together. The children left without and forgotten from the aftermath of the dragonsong war would find a safe haven with him. The men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice will rest assured knowing their brother in arms would raise the next generation.
She has done nothing but grumble all day, has shooed you away from the oven every time you tried to help, and has otherwise been an absolute menace. But when you come back from closing up she gives you this pose. Do you forgive her? Y/N
Someone over on Bluesky made a post about pictures of OCs dressed as maids, so... How could I not? In between DDOSes, I did a bit more poking at learning posing-related things. Early days, but we've gone from the uniform clipping through knees/legs/counter to looking roughly like it's pooling on the countertop instead, and the hand isn't clipping through it anymore.
I've been having a lot of fun poking at Pilgrim's Traverse with @maxikha-ffxiv and two of our non-Tumblr friends lately - Aethan Aratar the Midlander Hyur, and Senka Ateljevic the Lalafell. My first time doing DD stuff with a group! So I decided to knock out some quick pics of our group decompressing with noodles and stories after a dive. And also a spicy food contest, which apparently Maxi is currently winning easily, just from the looks of it.
I wanted to take some pics to show off a wintry glam I've been fiddling with. So please enjoy Fayeth being briefly diverted on her way back from the markets to help two dutiful* noble children out doing shopping for their mother.
*(She knows half the stuff they're asking about isn't on that list. It's pure mischief. And she almost certainly approves, even if she's trying very hard to hide that.)
Apropos of nothing, this video seems like the perfect example of how Fayeth and @maxikha-ffxiv's Jules exist as a couple. I'm sure you can figure out who is who.
"They're just veggies, they can't hurt you. Just do like I did, and you'll be fine."
I had to do a pic for Maid Day, because... *gestures*. Special thanks to @maxikha-ffxiv whose Jules seems not at all confident about this lesson but is going to give it socks!
Yeah. I mean, you should see her now - she's finally retired and everything, but she hasn't slowed down at ALL. I think she's gotten busier. I think she spends half of every day over by the Manufactory, just in case you-know-who makes something explode. And Jules - I mean you remember Jules, she's still Jules. Be worrying if she wasn't eh? I'll have to tell you about what she did to me when I went to Sharlayan - nearly swatted her for it, and all.
Hm? Well of course I'm doing well as well. I have my own little place now, you know - cafe and all, even some rooms for travelers. I've got a good caretaker for when I'm away, like this, and Sgt Aurifort keeps an eye on things too, probably just because of whose daughter I am. Fury knows Jules and I put the poor lad through the wringer over the years. Mum's over the moon too, partly because it's close to home, and partly because she gets to drop in and say "I told you so" every time I complain about the customers or bad batches or the like. And I KNOW, she's the expert. Don't start.
But yeah. Things are calming down, for who knows how long. It's nice. I just...
(Re-upping after the last post. Don't worry folks, she's healthy and taking care of herself. Aside from wondering whether the white streaks in her hair are increasing, and whether the girlfriend is responsible for that.)
