Why The Toy Chica Was Missing Her Beak

So something people have wondered for a long time is why the toy Toy Chica was missing her beak, as it was something was pretty odd.

This detail was even brought up by Scott Cawthon himself in that one ScottGames website change. "In the FNaF4 minigame, why would the tiny toy chica be missing her beak?"......... Well, here's what I think.

This is definitely a "theory" and it proposing a major retcon to the Fnaf 2. Heck maybe this could even be the one retcon. But basically I believe the Toy Animatronics existed all the way back in 1983, and this is why the toy Toy Chica was missing her beak.

So this toy Toy Chica is clearly based on well the Toy Chica, but we also see a toy Mangle in Elizabeth's room. I think these are here because the actual Toy Animatronics already existed in 1983.

This would also explain why Nightmare Balloon Boy Is Canon to Fnaf 4. It's because this Nightmare animatronic which like the other Nightmares is real, was based on an already existing Balloon Boy Animatronic. As the other Nightmares are based on the og animatronics which already existed in 1983. Side note, while Plushtrap is an enigma and heck maybe the biggest accidentally contradict in the series. Plushtrap might simply be based off the Springbonnie animatronic, and rumors of spring lock failures.

Side tangent aside this would also be plausible because we know Fioana Murray did design the Toy Animatronics before 1983 and their prototypes were already in the works. So Fazbear Entertainment could have easily turned them into official animatronics.

This could also parallel with the Five Nights At Freddy's 2 Movie, where they Toys also already existed long before 1987. As they are shown to be active in 1982.

This would mean them being a new creation in Fnaf 2 would be a major retcon. But here's how I see it. The Toys in Fnaf 2 were different from earlier models because they could walk around during the day and had facial recognition technology. Tech the Withereds were going to have but didn't get it. And that Toys were better suited for the more family friendly appearance.

But if not that and the Toys didn't exist already in 1983, then at least their concepts existed via Fioana. With Fazbear Entertainment clearly making toys of the Toy Animatronic designs, and William basing Nightmare Balloon Boy off of Balloon Boy. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

The Original Fnaf 1 Animatronics Existed Since 1983

So a small little detail not often talked about it the original Fnaf 1 animatronics existed in 1983.

So in Fnaf 4 which takes place in 1983 we have the Nightmare Animatronics which are real animatronics. These animatronics are based off of the already existing Fnaf 1 animatronics which would be at their own location already.

These designs would also be used in Fredbear & Friends as well, and is also why masks and plushies of these characters already exist at this time.

This would be further backed up by the fact some Faz-Tokens from the Help Wanted games say Freddy Fazbear's Pizza since 1983. This shows us Freddy Fazbear's Pizza already existed in 1983. Which of course is possible thanks to one Edwin Murray.

Fioana Murray Created The Toy Animatronics

So in one of the recordings in Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic we get the following recording. "Are they insane? The look of these new animatronics is Fiona's design and they're great. First they approve the art. Then they approve the proofs. Now they change their minds when we're so close to final. Why would they change them now? Are they pulling my leg? The new concepts are frankly creepy. It doesn't matter… I'm not changing a single bit of her work, and they can't make me.".......

This recordings seems to heavily imply alongside the why Fioana designs things, heavily implies the Toy Animatronics were designed by Fioana Murray. We have evidence the prototypes for these designs were at one point being worked on before things were changes, as we can see a Toy Bonnie prototype being part of the parts the Mimic wears in the Fazbear project section.

All Of Fnaf 4 Takes Place In 1983

Something a lot of people wonder is when Five Nights At Freddy's 4 takes place, both the main game and minigames. Well......

In Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location you can enter a Private Room which belonged to William Afton. In this room you can find the Crying Child's Fredbear Plush and some monitors. If you enter 1983 on the monitors you will get footage of the FNAF 4 house. This detail is heavily implies the events of said game do indeed take place in 1983. Both the minigames and gameplay.

The gameplay itself likely takes place inside of the Crying Child's head when after the Bite of 83. This is because of the flowers, iv bag, and pills can show up when playing this game. This is also indeed the Crying Child and not Michael because is from the perspective of a much younger person than say Michael.

While the gameplay is in the Crying Child's head, it would have all been caused by William Afton actively sending the Nightmare Animatronics after the Crying Child. Said animatronics are indeed real animatronics, Michael is aware of the existence of Nightmare Fredbear. That but also Fazbear Entertainment recreating the Nightmares, alongside the UCN lines also shows us they did exist. Also, yes William did that to the Crying Child, truly father of the year. It's also why the Crying Child is likely not his favorite child.

The minigame sections with the Crying Child and the Fredbear plush would also take place in 1983 as they would lead up to the Bite, but before the Fnaf 4 gameplay.

William Did Nothing To Stop Michael From Bullying The Crying Child

With the high likelihood of William talking to the Crying Child through the Fredbear plush, I would like to remind people that William did nothing to help the Crying Child out.

William did nothing to to Michael from bullying the Crying Child, and seemed to be pitting the 2 siblings against each other. Telling the Crying Child that his brother hates him, all while doing nothing to prevent any of what was happening. William Afton is truly a bad father. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

The Crying Child Saw Nothing Important

So something that has been debated on by many people for a long time is what the Crying Child saw. So I decided to give my 2 cents on what they saw. They saw nothing important.........

Okay so in Five Nights At Freddy's 4 the Fredbear plush says the following to the Crying Child. "NO! Don't you remember what you saw? The exit is the other way! Hurry and leave."....... I think the Crying Child literally saw something they misunderstood, and whatever it was was not important at all.

I believe this to be the case because in that one ScottGames website update Scott left this message. "What is seen in shadows is easily misunderstood in the mind of a child.".........

From here I think what was later revealed to be William was using what the Crying Child misinterpreted, and guided him to do things like like Fredbear's. Note this would not be because of cared a whole lot about the Crying Child, because we know he let Michael bully the Crying Child.

If it was originally a spirit such as the Charlie that was supposed to be talking to the Crying Child. Then they were likely just trying to help out and comfort him. Even if he misinterpreted something.

At most maybe this was retconned into the Crying Child actually seeing something, if so it was likely the death of Charlie. But overall I think the Crying Child saw something they misinterpreted, and that thing is not important at all. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

The Bite Of 83 Was Never Stated To Be The Reason Why William Is Evil

A popular fan "theory" is that the Bite of 83 is the inciting incident that caused all of Fnaf, and that this is why William became evil. Basically William stricken with grief after the death of his favorite child went crazy, and became a killer who also hates his son Michael Afton as he blames him for what happened.

It all sounds like a pretty interesting story, only....... This was never officially confirmed as a fact, even if so many people believe it to be.

In fact there is a lot of information going against it. First off we know William was already a pretty big jerk from the start, because of what he did to Edwin. As well as possibly being responsible for the the Fall Fest Fire, and maybe even killed/kidnaped David. These ones are hypothetical but if proven to be true would add on to everything.

It was also never confirmed if William hates Michael at all, but we do know he is not a good father to any of his children.

We also know it was never officially stated for a fact that the Crying Child was William's favorite son.

On top of all that, there seems to be heavy implications that the inciting incident for everything that happens at all the locations was the death of Charlie Emily. With her death in other media being the earliest, aka in 1982. While the games it is in 1983 and could very likely be before the Bite of 83.

Now while the Bite of 83 could have been before Charlie's and would be cool as the inciting incident. We can't say for sure, and again it is still heavily implied that it was Charlie.

All that being said the Bite of 83 being the inciting incident does make for an interesting narrative, but it was never confirmed. It isn't held up by actual in-game information, but other fan "theories" that are also not confirmed. It basically just a head canon at the end of everything. When Did Charlie Emily Die?

The day Charlie Emily was kidnapped and killed by William Afton is one that is debated by people. So here's what we know....

Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Silver Eyes seems to give us the information that Charlie would go missing 1982, with Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Fourth Closet telling us she was declared dead in 1983. The page 213 of the Updated Edition Of Five Nights At Freddy's: The Freddy Files uses the date November 1, 1982 further backing this up.

This date is the same as the date we get in the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Movie, the main difference being Charlie's age and discovery.

So while it would seem like Charlie died in 1982 right? Well....... In Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 in order to get the Puppet Doll for the tombstones you enter in 1983. This seems to heavily imply to us that Charlie in the games was killed in 1983, as we know she would have been discovered immediately.

Now while the dates between the games is different from the one movie and Silver Eyes Trilogy, it seems to all being giving off one idea. That Charlie was the first, the wound inflicted first on Henry. The inciting incident that kicked off everything. "A wound first inflicted on me but then, one that I let bleed out to cause all of this.".........

So yeah, Charlie seemed to have died in 1983 in the games, and also appears to the first inciting incident at the various location. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

It Was Never Stated That William Hates Michael

There is a popular fan "theory" that William Afton hates Michael. There is a lot of people that believe this idea to be a confirmed fact.

But this was never actually officially stated to be the case. We actually don't know what William thinks of Michael, and this idea is basically all just head canon.

At most William might be trying to kill Michael in Pizza Sim(since it's never confirmed we are), and maybe FNAF 3(up to interpretation). But the why is never stated at most in might be Michael possibly finally turned against his father, but we don't know that for certain. Alternatively it could be because William is just a bad father as seen across various continuities, let alone the main one.

Nightmare Balloon Boy Is Canon To Fnaf 4

So apparently in a Dawko stream, Scott Cawthon had claimed Nightmare Balloon Boy is canon to Five Nights At Freddy's 4. "Nightmare BB was originally just for the bonus game (before I decided to make a separate Halloween edition). However, Nightmare BB fits into the story and can be considered canon.".......

This detail is why Nightmare Balloon Boy can apparently be found in the base game of FNAF 4 outside of the Halloween update. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

Are The Withered Animatronics The Same Animatronics From Fnaf 1?

Something that has been debated for a long time is whether or not the Withered Animatronics are the same as the ones from Fnaf 1. This is because how different they look.

Then you have Five Nights at Freddy's: The Ultimate Guide on pages 18 and 272 it seems to suggested the Withered Animatronics are separate from Fnaf 1 Animatronics. Meanwhile the Five Nights At Freddy's 2 Movie does have them as separate animatronics which some people can see as a parallel. It calls them prototypes.

But Withered Chica's lines in UCN link the Withereds and OGs together, and implies they are the same animatronics and not just separate ones. As the spirits that possess the OGs definitely possess the Withereds. "I was the first I have seen everything."...... It clearly is referring to the fact Susie was the first of the MCI.

Then you have the newspaper from Fnaf 2 saying "The original characters are being kept in hopes of a possible reorganization of the company."...... This is likely referring to them being reused purposed back at the previous location aka FNAF 1's location likely. As they were stated to be from the previous location in the night 2 phone call. "Uh by now I'm sure you've noticed the older models sitting in the back room. Uh, those are from the previous location."....... There is also another possible link via the mention of the smell.

All that being said, the Withered Animatronics are very likely the same as the ones from Fnaf 1. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

When Was William Afton Spring Locked

So in the Five Nights At Freddy's 3 night 2 phone call that mentions they found an animatronic which is Springtrap, and is why he shows up.

In the night 4 tape the classic animatronic suit aka Fredbear and Springbonnie are deemed unsafe and are retired being stored in the backrooms. "The company has deemed the suits temporarily unfit for employess. Safety is our trop priority at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, which is why the classic suits are being retired to an appropriate location."......... Now we know they were stored in the safe rooms as these are rooms hidden from the cameras and the animatronics as stated in the night 3's tape. "Every location is built with one extra room that is not included in the digital map layout or programmed in the animatronics or security cameras."........

These details we get from the tapes explain to us why the animatronics in follow me can't enter see or enter a hidden room. Inside this room we can find the Springbonnie costume, hence this is where the classic suits have been stored.

In night 5's tape mentions the people not being allowed to be taken to these safe rooms which are hidden from cameras, and the Springbonnie animatronic has been noticeable moved. This also further confirms the "extra equipment and or property not being currently used"....(animatronics) is stored in the safe room. "This is not a break room, and should not be considered a place for employees to and and or congregate, and under not circumstance should a customer ever be taken into this room and out of the main show area. Management has also been made aware that the Springbonnie animatronic has been noticeably moved"...... This tape is clearly record around the time the MCI happens, which is when William used his Springbonnie outfit to lure the MCI.

From here we know William would go on to dismantle 4 of the possessed animatronics before getting spring locked in the final follow me minigame, all because of the moisture from water leaking in. Something a previous tape warned about. This is also why MoltenMCI is impossible.

Sometime after this the safe room which William is in gets sealed up as stated in the night 6 tape. "Uh, this is just to inform all employees that due to budget restrictions, the previously mentioned safe rooms are being sealed at most locations, including this one."....... This tape like all the other tapes explains a detail about follow me, in this case where Springtrap would have been this whole time. The answer is he was sealed off likely as a cover up by Fazbear Entertainment to hid what happened.

Now we know this takes place at the original Fnaf 1 location and would have to be between Fnaf 2 and Fnaf 1. This is because phone guy is still alive, and he dies sometime before Fnaf 1 at the Fnaf 1 location. This also means William would have dismantled 4 of the animatronics, died in the safe room, and been sealed off before Fnaf 1. From here the Fnaf 1 animatronics are reassembled and are haunting the place in Fnaf 1.

But off course before this happens William gets Michael his task which if fulfil in Sister Location, and would go missing when this happens. From here Michael hiding in shadows would be looking for his father who would be found by Fazbear Frights and used in the attraction. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

Michael Was Never Stated To Be Mike Schmidt For A Fact

Something I want to point out is that it has never been officially confirmed whether or not Michael Afton and Mike Schmidt are the same person or not. In fact there is a lot of thing people assume about Michael that is never outright confirmed.

So before we get to addressing if Michael is or isn't Mike Schmidt, let's get into what we know about Michael for a fact. First off we know he owned the Survival Logbook the scribblings inside of it make it clear this is the guy from Sister Location.

We know he is well aware of the supernatural stuff going on at Freddy's but feels crazy that nobody else ever acknowledges it. Which is why he relates to Clara from the Immortal And The Restless so much. We also, know in spite of his knowledge the animatronics are possessed, Michael doesn't like the animatronics. Often depicting his destroying the likes of Freddy or at least putting him in a cage.

It is heavily implied Michael is working with William, which is backed up by the fact that the Five Nights At Freddy's 2 Movie parallels this by clearly showing Michael is William's accomplice. Michael also might have eventually turned against his father in Pizza Sim, though this is never confirmed.

Michael via the Survival Logbook has been confirmed to have worked at Freddy's, which the movie also shows. But it is truly confirmed if we ever play as in in any games outside of Sister Location. Speaking of which we know in Sister Location he is doing what his father told him to do and at the end of the game he states he is going to find his father as he went missing. While people believe he turned against his father in this moment the tone doesn't imply that at all.

So with all that out of the way is Michael Afton the same person as Mike Schmidt? Well some people think this is the case as Michael's nickname is Mike in the Survival Logbook. But then again this is the same series that constantly reuses names such as Jeremy for unrelated characters. The same series whose creator keeps creating pigtailed girls. So a shared name via a nickname doesn't necessarily mean they are the same person.

That being said there is nothing concrete to say they are the same person, and it's only fan "theories" that make people believe this is a fact. While using a misinterpretation of the pink slips to back this up.

So if anything Michael and Mike are likely not the same person at all and that wasn't the intention. Something the movie would back up/parallel as it has them being 2 separate characters. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

What Are The Pink Slips In Fnaf About?

A popular fan "theory" for awhile now is that the Pink Slips references to a bad smell is because we are playing as Michael Afton in all the games. That he smells bad because he got scooped.

Now this doesn't work. Primarily because in FNAF 2 Michael would not have been scooped yet, as William hasn't gone missing after being spring locked. Which is while Michael says he is going to find his father because his father went missing.

So if the Pink Slips aren't referring to a purple Mike in FNAF 2, what are they referring to? Well aside from likely being a joke about the absurd reasons a corporation would fire someone for, it's likely referring to the tampering of the animatronics in the custom night. Why do I say this? Well.... on page 69 of Five Nights At Freddy's: The Ultimate Guide we get this information. "The player character is repeatedly fired for tampering with animatronics--which aside from alluding to the Custom Night, and knowledge of animatronics, could point to turning of their facial recognition or collecting remnant."......... This is something that is brough up and suggested unprompted about the pink slips before the fan "theory" is brought up. As it doesn't start off referring to it as something fans say or among many theories.

Michael could be working for his father in FNAF 2 and maybe FNAF 1. But that latter one is determined by whether or not he is a corpse as Michael is hiding in shadows after Sister Location. It really is dependent on whether or not FNAF 1 takes place before or after Sister Location. But also, Michael's time working at Freddy's might not even be on display in the games and some random night guards are the guards and tampered with the animatronics on their own accord. Never Trust What A Fnaf Theorist Says About The Books

So something people need to learn overall is to distrust what a Fnaf Theorist says about the books, and expect that they do things like tell you want page number they are getting their information from. Or at least provide quotes. This is because many Fnaf Theorist have either never read the books themselves, and are going off of secondhand information. Or they are being sensationalist and outright lying about the contents of a book, relying on you not checking them on it.

An example of someone likely relying on secondhand information is one MatPat. As in a video I can't not seem to find anymore(If you know where I can find it please tell me, it was made sometime right before August 12, 2023), he had claimed that in the books that Henry built the Mimic for Charlie, in order for the security puppet to protect her. "This neural network controlling the Pizzaplex isn't just influenced by Afton. According to the books, the ai program was originally built to play with Charlie, a girl that wore a green wrist band. That's why we see Tiger Rock, the book's manifestation of this same ai with 2 colored eyes. It has evil and good data inside of it.".... This is something that is blatantly false and not many people knew the one known as Edwin, and how he made the Mimic at the time. Secret Of The Mimic had not come out yet, and there was no memes about it yet.

Another Fnaf Theorist I can't remember the name of tried to claim that Mangle was possessed because as they claimed, the silver eyes in FNAF: The Silvers Eyes is what black eyes with with pupils are called; and that they mean an animatronic is possessed. This is a blatant lie as the silver eyes were a reference to the Foxy animatronics' eyes. "Behind her father, in a darkened comer, barely visible, hung a jumble of metal limbs, a twisted skeleton with burning silver eyes."...... + "It was standing over her. It was the thing from her father’s workshop, the misshapen thing that hung in the corner, shaken by random convulsions as its eyes burned silver. Does it hurt? Now it was still, and its eyes were blank and dull. It was staring straight ahead, insensate, and its arm with its hook hung useless at its side. She recognized his eyes, but he was somehow worse now, encased in hollow body parts and matted with red fur, with a stench of oil and glue. He had a name now: they called him Foxy. But she knew better."......

These are some examples, and there are many out there in the thousands of Fnaf Theorists videos. So I am making this as kind of a warning to always be skeptical of claims they make about what is said in the books. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper
