Ib munches on a crepe happily, Garry by her side. While she doesn’t smile, it’s obvious that she’s happy, absorbed in the flavor and relaxed in the presence of the friend who’s so important to her.

After a moment, she pauses, taking a moment to think… before turning to Garry, and asking in a curious tone-

“Garry. Why don’t Mother and Father like you?”

Even with knowing that kids can sometimes ask rather straightforward questions, it still catches Garry off guard a bit. There’s a nervous chuckle.

“Ah, well... It’s normal for parents to be a little careful around strangers. They don’t quite know me that well.” That’s the only logical reason Garry can come up with. It’s not like he did anything bad or inappropriate around the young girl’s parents to make them hate him or something. He’s sure they’ll warm up to him eventually.

“I wouldn’t worry about it to much, okay?”

verses i want to make for garry

modern au: garry makes pastries for a living. owns his own little bakery uwu the events of the game never happened.

post game: promise of reunion route. garry and ib make it out of the gallery. garry does have some ptsd afterwards. he and ib will occasionally meet up to spend time together. usually at a bakery or cafe.

fake garry: basically garry is evil and we stan :)
