Primal smirks, effortlessly wrapping his arms around the smaller male to support his weight. He isn't heavy, but he isn't exactly light either- All wiry and compact muscle coiled tight underneath fair skin.
What a pair they made, practically within the honeymoon phase of their partnership- all anticipation, passion, and excitement. He almost idly wondered how long such a union could last, this marriage of perfect monsters.
It all just feels so right, a familiarity that sets his mind at ease, as if drawn to one another by recognizing the same scent. He'd know Proton if he were blind, if he were deaf- Natsuhisa almost thought he could feel that spark-sizzle of rampant energy whenever he tasted the other man's blood against his tongue.
Everything about him is just perfect.
"Hey... You'd die for me, right?"
It's more a statement than a genuine question.
He could easily rip open a carotid artery, snap his neck, break his back like a tree branch. So, why was he hesitating?
The surprise is only visible on his face for a moment at the intrusion. Puzzlement is soon to replace it, leaning over slightly, looking past the doorway as if to wonder... is it really worth it to work so hard for this exit? Surely there were others.
What was going on?
"A lot. So if ya don't mind."
Waiting patiently. Hands still in his pockets. Whoever this was, he acted like he knew John. Alarm bells were loud, as they always were, and he stepped back. Giving the stranger space.
"Tight schedule, mate. Move."
“Oh, sorry- I’m being rude, huh?”
The redhead lowers his leg and pivots his body to allow the other man to continue walking. Primal blithely keeps pace with him and claps a large hand against Looker’s rightmost trench coat covered shoulder.
“Now we can talk, yayyy~ ♥” he singsongs, a literal skip in his step as he tightens the grip of his forearm around the elder male’s neck, squeezing and flexing his muscles like the thick coils of a python.
“You sure did a number on my friend, which is like- Wow! Here I was expecting someone real interesting, right? Anybody who manages to get a drop on Proton has to be pretty strong... but all I see some washed up old dude, it’s so weird?”
“Welp, can’t be helped... Guess I’ll hafta kill ya!”
the air is knocked from the executive’s lungs when the man shoves him against the wall, a sneer given against the rough, insatiable claim of his lips. it’s hard and feral, the stench of carnage lingering in the air. “ oh come on, you got no self-control, fucker, ” the words are hastily whispered in between bites that draw blood, his fingertips digging hard into the other’s back.
no emotions, not a sliver of care or kindness, the looming threat of death, it all excites proton to the point of pure, carnal madness. it’s the only type of language he knows, and the only kind that sets the adrenaline in his veins ablaze.
the sharp teeth digging into his neck pull a trembling breath from his parted lips – oh, how easy it would be for the bastard to break that jugular vein and watch him bleed out on the floor.
i want to break you. i wan’t to fucking ruin you.
his breaths have turned erratic by the time the other finally pulls back, the aching bite marks blossoming red bruises on his pale skin. “ too bad, ” he pushes his knee in between the man’s legs hard, dragging him back down to his eye level. “ we still got work to do. ”
How can Proton expect him to have self-control? He’d heard rumors, idle breakroom gossip about the notorious executive, but he had not expected the other male to be this interesting. All too often people spoke of ‘darkness’ or ‘evil’ and other meaningless words- Applied them to urges that all people shared, yet seldom had the stomach to act upon. Much to his delight, Proton could and would act on his urges in spades.
But therein lied his fatal flaw- Criticizing the aptly codenamed ‘Primal’ for his apparent lack of discretion. If Proton was this promising now, then he had miles upon miles of potential to be even worse. It was ironic, being his subordinate in rank and age, yet Natsu could sense that his specific brand of mentorship could lead to the birth- No, evolution of an entirely new and terrifying creature.
The thought alone made him almost desperately hard and he smirked at how it HURT to grind against his partner’s (no longer merely ‘prey’) kneecap and thigh.
Still- Proton had better not forget who’s in charge here; better not forget whose fingers are now fastened like a collar around whose throat. The muscles of his arm flex and ripple beneath tanned skin as he lifts the shorter man, not stopping until the very tips of the executive’s boots are just barely able to drag and scrape the floor.
He presses in close, using his free hand to yank the zipper of Proton’s uniform open so he can sink his canines into the warmth of his flesh, feeling the resistance of tendons and thin layers of tissue stretched over the sharp angles of his collarbone. Primal almost idly wondered if he had the sheer jaw power to bite down until it splintered. His breath is ghosting hotly against sweat, blood, and saliva dampened skin and he greedily worms his tongue into the wounds his teeth have dug.
“If it’s your usual handiwork., it’ll get me too excited... Might fuck you so hard you won’t able to walk for a month.”
kisses him while covered in blood like the absolute deranged fucker he is and then just– walks off
He wastes little time in bridging the gap between them with his long gait, fingers clawing into a shoulder none too gently as he practically shoves Proton back against the adjacent wall.
The executive is far from a tame thing, isn’t he? There is nothing domesticated about the savage creature beneath him; he can feel it in the strength of the hands that grip him, in the snarl of the mouth he digs his teeth into.
It’s everything Natsu wants: the absolute lack of hesitation, the absence of gentleness. He tastes blood in their kiss, bursting against his tongue, chased by the way Proton’s teeth scrape at him–
They’re gonna rip each other apart.
The red-head groans low, muffled, and angles his head away from the kiss– he goes for the jugular instead, needing bruises to bloom on his partner's skin. He ruins Proton's throat with his bloodstained mouth, sucks marks into soft flesh and rakes his teeth over a pulse point.
He cants his hips against Proton's with a rough exhale, then pulls very slightly back to take in the sight of his handiwork.
“After the fight some dude catcalled me on the way home so I turned around and spat a bunch of blood at his feet. Never seen someone regret doing something so fast.”
Primal has his ankles crossed atop the long desk they were both seated at, leaning back into his chair with his fingers laced behind his neck. He can't help the hyena-like laugh that erupts from his lips, banging a fist against the armrest of the office chair he was occupying so hard, a screw came loose and clattered across the floor.
"Man, I wish I had been there to see THAT- I was stuck in my dumb suit all day trying to hack into Interpol's archives. That place is so fuckin' depressing it makes me wanna vom, big time," he sighs, as though the topic was something purely innocuous, such as the weather.
Pausing for a moment, he stares at the executive's lower face, nose twitching slightly at the residual aroma of blood, sweat, and asphalt.
"Hey. Next time, can I watch? I wanna see you in action," he admits.
They'd been working together for a good long while by now and he still hadn't gotten a taste of Proton- at least not while he was in his element. Their sparring sessions on the training mats were akin to child's play, like a pair of dogs fighting over a single toy. It wasn't the same.
at first, the unmoving stare is returned with an equal amount of odd curiosity, yet those oh-so bluntly disrespectful words make him scoff. “ executive. you new or something? ” proton doesn't pay much attention to the newcomers anymore. why should he? only thing they were good for was hunting for sport.
he doesn't move an inch when the man shoves himself close enough for him to feel that breath brush against his cheek. the reek of death lingers on the executive stubbornly – no surprise with how he had his hands buried into snitch guts daily. whether it was for interrogation purposes or just casual fun, didn’t matter.
the bored expression is replaced with a sneer, the depraved words piquing his interest once more. “ deal, ” arms cross against his chest as he leans close to the stranger. “ and if you die first, i'll pull your intestines out through your mouth. ”
Natsu practically looks like an overexcited Labrador as Proton threatens him with very real promises of bodily harm. He’d normally take such words flippantly, since anyone could say they were ‘going to kill you’ if you angered them enough. Few actually had the gumption to follow through with the dirty work, often losing their initial flirt with an emotion vaguely close to bloodlust.
He pitied the folks that had yet to experience the unbridled joy of the slaughter, the satisfying crunch of bone and the snap of tendons- What a dull and meaningless existence it would be without succumbing to the innate urges that made humans intrinsically part of the animal kingdom. An intelligent animal, but an animal none the less.
“Promise?” he replied easily, nudging the crown of his forehead against the sharp brim of Proton’s flatcap as his eyelids fell to half mast.
Ah, the smell that clung to even the feathery strands of his hair and fibers of his uniform... The aroma is disgusting and sweet, foul and steaky… Coppery notes of burst iron-rich blood vessels and acrid cerebrospinal fluid suffocates with a musky odor- mixed with the sulfurous stink of burning hair and nails. A unique and unforgettable scent that he’s more than intimately familiar with.
“Ya burned ‘em close to the end, I can tell... The smell’s so thick and rich, that it’s almost like you can taste ‘em, huh?”
“I found you beat half to death in a dumpster. When I said I would call 9-1-1 you punched me in the face and said no before passing out.”
“Holy shit you look terrible.”
“Can’t go to my place, I’m making poison in my kitchen.”
“This is the tenth half-eaten corpse I’ve seen. It’s still kinda horrifying but less horrifying than the first time I saw one.”
“Yeah, that’s right, go wander off and commit murder somewhere else.”
Everything about your life makes so much sense now.”
“I don’t know, that sounds like a ‘fuck off’ kind of growl.”
“There’s a girl snorting cocaine off the counter in the bathroom. Just thought you’d wanna know.”
“I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news: some of this blood is mine. The bad news: most of it is mine. And I’m going to pass out.”
“After the fight some dude catcalled me on the way home so I turned around and spat a bunch of blood at his feet. Never seen someone regret doing something so fast.”
“Is that a fucking dragon?”
“That is genuinely disturbing.”
“Don’t smile. You have the smile of a serial killer.”
“This is surprisingly not the worst thing we’ve done. This is like, maybe halfway up the list.”
