forgive me if you've stated this somewhere, but how long has the apocalypse been?

The timeline isn’t exactly blatantly clear in the show or comics even so I’ve just settled on saying that it’s been a “few” years. I’d say that means somewhere between either three or four.

I don’t mind at all! I’m honestly up for seeing just about anyone, but I can totally give you some suggestions. I don’t know what age range you’re looking for, but here’s a few. i'm trying to decide between characters so i thought i'd ask, when it comes time for a second character, can we pick up a canon that might possibly talk to another canon (that is our first character) at some point in time but aren't remarkably close? i hope that makes sense!

It makes perfect sense! And, yes, you can. We would definitely prefer if they didn’t have very much contact with each other in the show, but it’s not a deal breaker either. We just want everyone to be able to play who they want.

can leaders only be canon charas or can oc be leaders too?

As of right now, we only have the canon characters as leaders. On each of the community pages, I’ve added exactly who runs which just to clear up any confusion. However, in the future, through plots drops or new groups coming in, I believe there’s definitely room for OCs to be leaders too.
