i finished playing sonic heroes a lil bit ago and i loved it but oh my GOD THOSE SPECIAL STAGES. WERE AWFUL. had to replay basically all of team rose's campaign to get the emeralds cus they were the only ones where id be able to actually get to the end without being hit and even then some levels had to be replayed a good couple times cus i fumbled the special level UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. anyways great game loved it

I loooove your Silver headcanons. Do you have any for what his relationship with Ariana is like? I feel like she was maybe more distanced as a mom. Not mean or anything but maybe just not super involved

unfortunately i dont have TOO many ideas for what his relationship with ariana was like, mainly for the exact reasons you mentioned ! (also cus my brain sucks at thinking so id need to discuss with my guy cus he helps my brain move)

either way i do feel like she was pretty distant (they both probably were tbh) like there probably was moments where she WAS around him but not many to make-up for how much she just. wasnt there. (can also go for that bald man too) coupled with the fact that once he reached a certain age where they didnt need to be with him near 24/7 or whatever it probably fell into that thing of "oh theres somebody else that can watch him hes fine" cus i do think the whole thing of having some other team rocket members look after him when needed is a very possible and likely thing!

and as a general from what i know and have guessed abt him i do feel like silver dealt with a lot of like, emotional neglect? at the very least cus its just something that sorta lines up with how he acts in game (despite how little we see) and with how i tend to portray him

while i dont think these things were COMPLETELY intentional theyre still things that happened and were still very much bad cus hes just not, doing well at all......

also ik most people give silver shadow whenever it comes to sonic and pokemon stuff but i like, didntttttt wanna doooooo thaaattt

like silver has his whole issue with hating being weak and is then stuck into the vessel of a civilian whos also a prey animal, and while cream isnt fully defenseless theres still a noticeable difference between her and the other 3 so hed probably feel noticeably weaker than them and itll bug him like crazy
