Poppit being the one who didn’t wanted to get into a relationship and get married, much less wanting to have kids but being coerced into it by society while art being the one who wanted to start a family explains why Poppit would be willing to give away Blocky.

I’d be interesting if she was the one similar to Clay, who struggles with coming in terms with her orientation.

As I've said before I don't really like it when events from the Puppingtons family's life are repeated in the Posabules family. Even if Poppit is gay it won't be the main reason for her being miserable in this marriage.

In my vision, Poppit had career plans and she was even going to get a degree before she got pregnant. And now she sees how Art works every day and lives the life she wanted to live. I'm not sure if she has alcohol or drug addiction anymore but it makes sense. Like, imagine that you've been messing with children for years and wasting your life on something you hate? Ofc she would have any sort of addiction.

Headcanon : Poppit doesn't see Block as her "own" child and refuse to take care for him. Meanwhile Art felt like he's not responsible for Block so he let Christina to took care of him to teach her about "motherhood" at young age.
