the love I feel for this fish is beyond words

Sadly, Feebas are one of the most abandoned pokemon. Many people catch one so that it will evolve into a Milotic, but get frustrated when it doesn’t evolve fast enough.

There are several organizations that rescue abandoned and abused Feebas and maintain huge healthy schools of them. They hold Feebas-only beauty pageants to raise funds and show how stunning these pokemon can be.
