In contrast some people say "there aren't any picky eaters in Asia 🙄" but this is laughably untrue. I have a cousin in India who refused until his 20s to eat anything in a sauce. as you can imagine in India this was difficult. he basically had to pick things out of curry and wipe them dry

I really hate when I have to unfollow someone because they decided to be transphobic. Can we all agree that there's no place to hate on trans men or trans women or nonbinary people? Like it's getting really old. Solidarity or nothing. I don't want fake ally-ship you either stand with each of us or none of us. You cannot say you support trans people and willingly hate one side of the trans spectrum. We can absolutely call each other out and hold each other accountable but this stereotyping and malicious behavior towards one another needs to fucking stop. It's concerning how easily people are falling into the fascist trans hate belief systems. Decolonize your thoughts.
thibking a lot of thoughts of that one exchange at the end of wemmbu's latest upload where flame was like "the whole thing you stand for is lame!!" and wemmbu just responded with "what do i stand for?"
i feel like that one line REALLY encapsulates a lot about his character. he's constantly being treated as a weapon, being pointed at different people by various third parties and told "go kill them" when. he just wants to have fun playing minecraft with his best friend.
the only reason he's so strong is bc he needed to be strong to protect himself and egg from a world that destroys and discards people that are weak. but bc egg didn't become equally strong, he's always going to be this weak link that can be used to direct wemmbu's wrath elsewhere.
there's nothing that wemmbu stands for, bc he's not in any conflict for political gain or for any grand cause. in fact, i'm certain that if it were up to him, he wouldn't even begin to be involved. but he gets dragged into these things over and over and over. and always has.
first it was zam dragging him into the conflict with spoke, then district 13 in the conflict with the invis mafia, then lettuce trying to use him to win the election (and district 13 part 2 in overthrowing lettuce), and now arachnid. he doesn't stand for or believe in any of the causes he's pushed to be a symbol for, he just wants to have fun and hang out with his best friend in a world so determined to crush that just bc he had the audacity to become strong
sometimes someone I follow falls victim to severe Character delirium to the point where they stop even saying the character's name and just refer to them by an epithet like some kind of malevolent entity whom they don't wish to accidentally summon, so if the sickness sets in quickly enough and I don't pay close attention for a week I'm just Never going to figure Who this bastard haunting my friend Actually Is. and I'll spend months scrolling my dash occasionally seeing appeals to "that fucking horse" or "my evil grub."
