“What, you can’t make an exception just for me?” It was arrogant to presume, but he had little to lose if she flat out rejected him. Jake was interested in having fun while he was back in town, he was hardly going to let one girl blowing him off get him down. “Well, now I’m kinda glad that you don’t have mind reading abilities. Do people even still want super powers?” he asked, arching an eyebrow curiously while he held out his ticket for the girl. “I’d say they’re over-rated. Especially after that shit in Sokovia.”
“Depends what you do to compensate for such idoicy.” she said with a smirk, no malice or condescencion in her voice as she moved her hands towards her back hips, clinging onto them waiting for him to give her the bagel that would hold the sweet taste of victory. She looked up towards the man passing her the bagel as she nodded for him to pay the man with questionable amounts of back hair for a hospitality worker. “Does anyone really want powers in this world?” She looked towards him and gave a small shrug her powers were hardly conventional, they were not given to her by a higher power but from a Kingpin that wanted her as a pawn.
