What Would be Your Choice?
If it was socially permissible for you to have one article of women’s clothing to wear at any time, what would your choice be? This doesn’t mean that you can’t wear anything else. It’s just the one thing you’d wear every single day and no one would ever bat an eye. For me, it would be shoes…tons and tons of shoes. any style, any form, any brand…as long as they are cute and fem.

Gym Bunny Weight Loss Challenge
Beginning today, I am challenging the would-be bunnies among us to a weight loss challenge. This won’t be easy. It’s a difficult time of year to even keep in some sort of maintenance phase due to candy galore, feasts, and cooler weather. But we can do this because we are more than silly boys! We are girly boys; and we have determination that far exceeds that of manly men.
Let me be rather honest with you. I’m rather disappointed about where I am in my fitness right now and I need some motivation. The past three months have been blah in the weight room, very lax in the kitchen, and with an overabundance of alcohol to boot. All of this has contributed to a physique that I’m not proud of and want to make a change. I just don’t like the way I look or feel in my leggings and sports bras right now. I can’t stand having this gut rolling over my waist band and stretching out my tight-fitted tanks. I realize I am getting older, but I miss the days of being exceptionally fit. So, I am putting myself out there to be held accountable to some of my favorite people in the digital world with hopes that you will join me. So, let’s pull up our big girl panties and get cracking!
The challenge that I’m suggesting is a 12 week challenge to lose fat and increase physical activity and motion. I’ll be posting my starting weight in the comment section and hope you’ll do the same. There’s no need to be embarrassed. We are all in this together. I imagine that i will weigh this morning at about 205 and I hope to get below 190 by the end of the 12 weeks. We will see what the scale says.
Here is my plan. I will begin with three weeks of intermittent fasting–light lunch around 1:00 and a medium weight dinner no later than 6:00. I will grant myself one cheat meal on Friday nights, followed by an extended fast day on Saturday. You can follow with me on this if you wish and only if you are able. Do NOT do this if you are diabetic! I will cycle this every three weeks with three weeks of 6 mini-meal days. Alcohol is only permitted within reason on Friday and Saturday–no beer and no high sugar cocktails, wine, whiskey, and coffee liquors acceptable.
There will be some exceptions along the way, like Halloween and Thanksgiving, but hopefully by then there will be a great sense of discipline not to go overboard.
