Sissy <3
My mom and sister are going to Iowa this weekend, so Sissy had to go stay in another foster home. We will get her back next week! She is a very nice kitty. Her eyes are gorgeous.
Keke and Kimba went back to the shelter yesterday to be adopted! I have been away at college, so I haven't seen them very much. My mom says these are the best kittens we've ever had. They are so well behaved. She misses them a lot. I hope they go to great homes! Hopefully they'll get adopted together.
Selfies with Sissy
Believe it or not, she actually loves being held the way I'm holding her in the bottom pic. She's a weird kitty. She also makes ribbitting noises (like a frog) instead of meowing.
~ 3 new foster kitties! ~
We got 2 new kittens and an adult female cat. The two kittens are female, and their names are Kimba and Keke. The adult's name is Sissy. The kittens and the cat don't like each other very much, and all of them are shy. Sissy has improved a lot so far, and the kittens are making strides as well. They do not handle strangers well, but are becoming comfortable with my family and I. More pictures and updates to come!
New foster kittens!
We got these 3 male tabbies a few weeks ago. Their names are Huey, Dewie, and Louie! They are pretty big compared to the kittens we've had in the past. They are extremely playful and never tire out. We have trouble telling them apart sometimes, especially Dewie and Louie. I got to see them when I went home for Thanksgiving break, but they will be gone by the time I come home for Christmas :(
All of our foster kitties so far.
Some pictures that my sister sent to me today. She makes them look so girly all the time.
If anyone in California is interested in adopting a dog or a cat, Kerns County Animal Shelter ( one of the most disgraceful shelters in California ) is being shut down. Dogs are being sold for 15$ and cats for 5$ ( all are fixed with shots. )
Every animal will be put down by September 30th.
Go here for more information.
Ginger got a little tired.
Basil can't fit in the basket anymore.
Look at that face.
Clover, Basil, and Ginger
These kitties have gotten much bigger in the past week. They are playing much more than they used to and are more independent. Basil is definitely the biggest and most mature. Ginger is the instigator when it comes to wrestling and rough-housing. Clover still needs a lot of human attention, but enjoys playing with his siblings when he can!

An exceptionally devoted and resourceful cat-owner in Japan built this incredibly awesome enclosed wraparound catwalk for their feline friends on the outside of their house. They’ve given their kitties access to all the sunshine, fresh air, and birdwatching they can handle.

my future home
Some very sad news:
One of our kittens, Cinnamon, died last night. He was pretty lethargic for the week that we had him, and we think he might have been constipated. He never wanted to play, but was very cuddly and loved everyone. Some of my friends called him "crotch kitty" because he liked to sit in between people's legs. My mom found him in his bed this morning in an odd position; I hope he wasn't in a ton of pain. He was such a good kitty and everyone who met him, loved him. We will miss him dearly.
Rest in peace, baby kitty.
A few updates on the kittens:
They discovered the stairs a few days ago, which means they are getting stronger and more interested in exploring. All of the kittens are more interested in toys now, except for Cinnamon! He is the smallest and wants to be held constantly. He sleeps on my shoulder a lot. Ginger is much less shy and also demands a lot of attention. She like to sleep in the bean bag.
