Cooking Encounter||Alexandra & Felix (Time Jump)

Alexandra was roaming through the street of New York City, trying to get to her destination on time. About a year ago, everyone who knew Alexandra would have never thought she’ll be ever roaming around the city of New York. They would have thought she’ll be out of the United States, studying abroad in some foreign country for who knows what. Instead of continuing her study in school, Alexandra decided to take a year off after leaving camp. The incident in camp left her somewhat traumatized, not making her what to think about her education. But it also opened up her eyes how lonely she was when that happened, and she decided to changed that. She decided to try and be more friendly as best as she can, be a little bit more open. A better way to start it by meeting someone with the same common interests as her, in a cooking class. Alexandra tried cooking once she arrived back home, and she ended up loving it. Cooking class could help her improve her school and make new friends, well, hopefully.
After finding the class, Alexandra entered the place as quickly as she could since she did not want to be late. She let out a relief sigh once she saw she was not late, but rather a bit early. Alexandra was slowly looking around, taking in the details of the class, she stopped once she felt pair of eyes on her, almost as if someone is staring at her. Alexandra turned and saw someone familiar. What was his name? Fabio? Finn? No, it was none of those, but did start with an F. She smiled at him and offered him a wave. As she walked close to him, she remembered his name. Felix. “Hey” She said with a small smile, “Mind if I sit next to you?” Alexandra gestured to the empty chair next to him.
Because of all the work that Felix was now involved in, he had no time to socialize. He had originally gone to Camp Harmony to meet other supernaturals and make some friends that understood what it was like to be supernatural among a bunch of mortals, but he hardly had time to meet anyone before the camp was ended. Now, sitting in the cooking class surrounded by middle-aged woman who wanted nothing more than to cook a Thanksgiving Turkey and a few men who were unfortunate enough to be raising children alone, he wasn’t sure he would ever be able to find people he related to. He was cursed to look like he was in his 20′s for the rest of his immortal life, just like every angel, or in his case, fallen angel. Any friend he made that was mortal he would eventually have to watch die as he continued to live, basically condemning Felix to a life of solitude or a life of pain.
Wallowing in this realization of loneliness, Felix was elated to see a familiar face among the crowd of older people. She was the one that he had joked about cooking with back at camp. It was ironic that they had to travel to the other side of the country to actually make that joke a reality. “Yeah, yeah, of course. Sit.” Felix responded, kicking himself for sounding a little bit too enthusiastic. “Alexandra, right?” He asked, wanting to make sure he knew her name if he was going to be seeing her once a week till the end of the class.
