I noticed speckles is only black and white, no reds at all like in most tricolors I see. Is this an age thing or just How This One Be?

It’s just How This One Be! He’s “hypo erythristic”, so he’s got the black base, and he’s got the white stripes, but he doesn’t really have much red on him at all, just in tiny little spots on his head (hence his name!), and (SORRY) a bright red butthole cloaca.

He’ll probably stay these colours for the rest of his life!

As a comparison, this is a “normal” tricolor!
