        dazai isn’t normally one for sweets, finding them overwhelming more often than not. but lately? 

                lately, it seems he’s acquired a taste for them.

       the amount of sugar present in the dark chocolate mousse he had selected was just right, and he makes a pleased noise in the back of his throat as the treat melts across his tongue. he’s surprised he hasn’t caught ranpo’s attention yet; the great detective was busy fiddling away with a marble, the newest addition to his collection. 

       he couldn’t have that, could he? so in the next second he takes another bite and practically moans with every intention of making it as lewd as possible. and it works, too, because dazai is barely through the next bite when ranpo’s crowded into his personal space, pointing out the offending cream.

“Oh? How careless of me,~” he says, and it is with no shortage of mischievous delight that he reaches up to swipe it off with the tip of a slender finger. he regards it for a moment, then pops the digit into his mouth and sucks it off without even bothering to try and hide the implication.

❛ I can hear your heart beat — it’s soft.❜ -from Kunikida bc after our talks, I HAD TO--

        dazai smiles into kunikida’s hair when he hears him speak, even though the words make his heartbeat anything but soft. he’s still startled by little admissions such as this; a wild animal, threatened by intimacy. but kunikida makes it so easy, doesn’t he? his attention to detail extends to their own relationship, so much so that despite all of dazai’s walls and masks and hesitancy to ever lay himself bare for another person, he does just that. even now, the words “I love you” stick to his tongue and choke him, so he chooses to pull kunikida’s head to his chest instead and allows his heart to do all of his talking for him— just like it’s doing now.

“Oh? And do you know what it’s saying?” a brush of lips, across the top of his head. “I’m sure you do.”

he’s quick to slide (1) of ranpo’s favorite snacks into his hands from where he leans over his shoulder-- then, he happily claims his reward with lingering press of his lips.

        dazai is content to play the little spoon for the time being, if only because he liked the way akutagawa fit against his back, his head buried into the crook of his neck. he had a bad habit of trying to speak when his face was pressed there, muffled by his skin, but by now dazai was well versed in picking out the bits and pieces of his sentences. his fingers draw idle patterns over the flesh of his arm, first with his fingertips, and then with the hard edge of his nails. he delights in the way he calls goosebumps to the surface, one large hand splaying out over them just as quickly as they appear as if to coax them into going away. 

        it took some getting used to, this casual affection of theirs. but dazai was anything if not tenacious, and he took it upon himself to drag akutagawa from the shell he had once helped to build.

“We can switch if you want me to hold you instead, being warm and all.~”

(bite) - for your muse to bite mine

        fyodor’s teeth tear into his neck, blood immediately welling up to the surface hot and metallic in their merciless wake; not that dazai would have accepted anything akin to mercy, not after everything that happened between them, the years of cat and mouse that led up to this. dazai drags his nails down the flesh of fyodor’s back hard enough to leave angry red welts in their wake as he shudders, hard– exhales a sigh laced with ecstasy and cants his head to the side to bare more of his sensitive skin to the preying bone. he goads him on, when the teeth don’t automatically rend his flesh for a second time, chasing the fleeting rush of adrenaline that comes with fantasies of his throat torn out, of lips stained cherry red with his blood.

        “Again,” he says, and it is not a plea so much as it is a demand. he punctuates it with a slow roll of his hips, grin tinged with pleasure but just as fiendish as one would expect. 

                “Put your mouth to good use, for once.”

i'm a full time university student with two jobs. the first job is inventory at an apple retail store, the second is a research position with a professor and phd student from my campus doing linguistic annotation and error analysis. fingers crossed the paper gets published, guys!

i’m a linguistics major with a specialization in computational linguistics, and my minor is japanese! ya boy just applied for graduation in the spring so Free Me.. at least until i go get my masters.

i’m pretty confident in my japanese, though i am still in the process of learning.
