Chills ran through me when I saw the season finale is called “To Ransom a Man’s Soul.”

I know this isn’t exactly on topic with your regularly scheduled programming but I had such a visceral reaction that I wanted to share. I love that they’re using a phrase that comes straight out of the book. Personally I’m looking forward to seeing whether or not they’re filming the part where Claire keeps vigil in Adoration. I remember that scene being moving, to me.

What do you think of the title? How do you think they’ll wind it up?

So one of the downsides of working shorter and slower is that I have not been able to speak to current episodes as efficiently, but since being asked for my thoughts prior to the episode, I thought I would share. Here are the thoughts going through...

Today, of course, premieres the penultimate episode of Outlander. Wentworth is, arguably, simultaneously the most heavily and least heavily anticipated episode of the series. Connie, atom1cflea, puts it beautifully, so I felt this was worth sharing.
