im still annoyed about the way that blaineley was sent onto total drama. like i get that she’s a reporter and would know the name of duncan’s band, she wants the show to end on time so she can get paid, that all makes sense. but the fact that beth was the one who couldn’t answer the question?? beth, who skipped ever challenge in the tda finale because she knew all the answers to chris’ questions about her fellow competitors?? literally any character not knowing the answer except beth would’ve made sense!!

best case scenario Digital Circus gets remembered in a similar way as Steven Universe: a show that was Really Fucking Good and had nuanced characters and interesting things to say, but the audience wasn't quite ready for it and it imploded into a discourse ball. four years from now I expect to see lesbians drawing Jax like she's a renaissance muse the same way people still draw Pearl or Lapis

Slight idea for the José redemption au, him wearing his hair tied back most of the time after he starts working with Neha on investigating/uncovering the producers and networks shadiness, plus generally looking more tired bc the two will sneak out at night during their investigating for almost the whole night and barely get any sleep in. He’s still putting in effort and trying to win, but he’s also keeping an eye on Neha in case she gets targeted during challenges like she mentioned in the past.

The two being caught dozing off during challenges or even just sleeping during their free days if they aren’t going over their evidence. Everyone assuming they have been sneaking off at night together and that’s why they’re always so tired, fueling the idea that they’re a couple (and slowly getting to Heather and Alejandro). Like at some point the two going off to the woods to talk in private about what’s going on and falling asleep there together, being woken up by the other campers who got sent out to look for them, most of them finding the two asleep together cute.

stephanie & ryan –> gwen & courtney, solely for the love-hate relationship that they have but this time they’re able to learn to really be friends

laurie & miles –> jo & brick. constantly trying to be in charge and worsening their performance in the meantime until realizing that they gotta work as a team and listen to one another (mostly jo has to learn this)

macarthur & sanders –> heather & leshawna. i just want to see them forced to work together where they can’t get the other person out without losing

lorenzo & chet –> alejandro & josé. i need to see more of their dynamic, learn more about josé. let them scheme together

ellody & mary –> shawn & dave bc they were kinda friends when dave was mostly normal. shawn could help dave be more calm and dave can help soften shawn’s heart (mostly based on that one scene where dave talked about love and shawn cried)

geoff & brody –> dj & duncan. i love their friendship so much man

dwayne & junior –> geoff & blaineley bc honestly their dynamic was one of the best parts of blaineley’s appearance in tdwt

tom & jen –> sierra & topher as total drama fans together

josee & jacques –> max & scarlett but max knows scarlett is evil and they’re a chaotic duo who sabotages the other contestants

jay & mickey –> amy & sammy except now sammy stands up for herself and amy has to learn to deal with that and treat her like a human

rock & spud –> any combination of the drama brothers. there are so many possibilities.

pete & gerry –> chris & chef. i want them (mostly chris) to be forced to compete on reality tv and get no mercy from don

kelly & taylor –> dj’s moms!!! need i say more.

leonard & tammy –> mike and cameron. their friendship was cute.

ennui & crimson –> dawn and b. bc theyre besties and i love them. I feel like they would weird other teams out with the not talking/aura reading but they’re a great duo
