In the midst of unexpected battle on what was supposed to be a peaceful mission, Obi Wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight, had lost sight of not only his Padawan Learner, but his partner and her Padawan as well. He hoped the three were together somewhere, none seriously harmed. And he was trying to remain calm though, because although he could sense Anakin, somewhere in the distance, he could not sense Sorcha’s presence at all. Thoughts of his own master’s demise flashed through his mind as he reminded that fateful battle on Naboo. It was the thought of losing Anakin and Sorcha that drove him to run faster, searching the ruins of their battle for any sight of either.
Thunder crackled overhead in the foreign planet’s sky, its multiple moons hidden by clouds. Just as he sets eyes on Sorcha, relief floods through him and the sky breaks loose with rain.
“Sorcha!”

The mission had been one of diplomacy, or so they had all been lead to believe. Apparently, tensions between the planet’s two leading parties had come to a head while the Jedi's and their Padawan’s had been present. And as the neutrality in the situation, they’d been caught rather unawares when the battle had erupted.
Wounded, and separated from the rest of her companions, Jedi Knight, Sorcha Ven, maneuvered her way through the debris and ruin that the battle had left behind. She could sense her Padawan, Amala, some distance away... and off even farther, Anakin.
They were okay. They were alive.
But Sorcha couldn’t sense the one who she'd been reaching out for.
Obi-Wan.
She couldn’t feel his presence, and that sent her immediately into a panic. He wasn’t... He couldn’t be...
No.
She refused to accept that!
And yet, she couldn’t feel him...
Dark brows furrowed as the redhead pushed aside a piece of rubble and continued on in the direction she desperately hoped would lead her to the other Jedi Knight.
Her mind was having an intense war with her heart.
Her mind was willing her to stay calm, to look at the situation logically... And then there was her heart, (which was swiftly overruling everything else) that was breaking at the possibility that the love of her life might be dead.
Tears began to blur her vision as she pushed past even more rubble, a choked sob escaping her as the grim reality of what she could find really started to set in.
It’s the sharp crackle of thunder that causes her to look up, her heart practically leaping into her throat at what she sees.
“Obi-Wan!”
It was as if the sky was crying its relief, rain breaking the clouds and falling down heavily upon them. Her torn clothes becoming soaked in seconds, Sorcha could not bring herself to care.
He was ALIVE.
It was pure instinct when she jumped over a nearby crumbled wall and immediately ran directly in the man’s direction.
