It makes me tear up that Mika’s human parents hated him so much they threw him off a car but his real parent, the First, loved him so much he’s willing to commit sins and die for him to bring him back. Discovering that Mika did have a loving parent figure is so satisfying.

This shit is so insane to me because I’ve shipped mikayuu since the anime came out in 2015 but I never actually thought they’d be canon. I haven’t kept up with the manga for a few years and I finally got caught up only to find out it got 100x gayer 😭

Like it’s been confirmed they’re literal soulmates? Yuu chooses to save Mika over the entire world and then they run away together to go on a date at Mt Fuji and watch the sunrise?? Yuu should be feeling miserable that he just had to betray all his friends but instead he’s over here having the time of his life with Mika on a gay time travel adventure..

And I’m supposed to believe Kagami isn’t intentionally making it romantic and Yuu is going to end up with someone else after all this???
