as a sidenote i enjoy the idea of nyreen meeting garrus on omega and finding him to be an absolutely pathetic loser and also that he is not the first turian Wanna Be Vigilante on omega with righteous fantasies just the latest and most arrogant. meanwhile nyreen is so completely and totally cynical about any pompous turian values that she's abandoned the game completely, has had to actually deal with her checkered past and has interest in the underlying structural problems with omega and she keeps running into this moping loser over and over and just starts avoiding him like the plague to do her own work, rebuild her moral code from the ground up. she never had the luxury to pretend she was a hero after all, she was punished in the hierarchy for her simple existence and got caught in her affair with aria and feels filthy to the bone and knows she cant wash it with more blood. the best she can do is actually try to fix her mistakes where she is now

Her hair is everywhere, most of it in his face. Her pillows are terrible and should probably qualify as a form of torture.

And yet Garrus doesn’t move an inch.

He just lies there, keeping his breathing slow, listening to hers soften into a deep, even rhythm against his chest.

Sleep never comes easy to Shepard anymore, so he ignores the stiffness creeping up his neck and lets her steal these few peaceful hours. Before the Normandy, the mission, hell, the entire galaxy starts demanding every last piece of her all over again.

was googling after and learned you can ROMANCE some characters??? but apparently the only one i wish to date is not romancable until ME2.

so anyway i WILL be fucking that lizard man once I replay ME1 again bc I rushed the campaign and now I wanna do more of the side quests

How fast do you think Garrus ran to the base when he heard Shepard on the radio on Menae?

Because I am picturing the man absolutely hauling ass, stopping around the corner, hands on his knees catching his breath, breath in, then pull out the sniper rifle for his suave entrance about finding the primarch for Shepard.
