I'm so normal about the colour symbolism surrounding Echo....one like and I'll yap about it....

The colour surrounding Echo throughout the course of his story is symbolic of his healing journey.

When he was a shiny, his main colour was blue. Kamino - blue. Rishi Moon - blue. 501st - blue. But the Rishi Moon was interesting: Echo was the only one to get the blue on his armour. The handprint was over Echo's heart, symbolising how he (from then on) became intricately tied to the colour blue.

At the Citadel - the end of Echo's 'first life' - our last sight of Echo's helmet is grey and blue, representing the end of his 501st self. From then on, his main colour is grey. The Techno Union and Skako itself were both grey. This cold grey represents the worst part of Echo's life - his imprisonment. For a moment, the blue is returned in Rex's armour, Anakin's lightsaber and briefly in Echo's new armour - representing his hope returning as he is rescued.

But, as the blue is painted over, it is replaced with grey and red. Red is the colour of rebirth (like a phoenix), so his new grey and red armour represents both his new life and his trauma from the Techno Union. Over the course of the Bad Batch, however, the grey is slowly replaced by white and yellow and blue.

This is the end of his journey. This switch in armour is symbolic of his healing - combining the red of his rebirth and the blue of his old life as he accepts that he is no longer the man he was and he is okay with that.
