Myeong, often just goes by Mye, is a born shifter that was taught martial arts extremely early on. She was eventually taken to Europe, along with the rest of her owner's stock, meaning several other shifters and some servants, in order to eventually make her way into the Spain Challenge of arena fighting. She and those with her were trained much like animals how to fight and scuffle, tossed into pit after pit to often fight to win and sometimes to the death. Some time in her life, she befriend a human woman near her age and was convinced to eventually plan an escape. They managed, albeit barely, and traveled together for a time. Together, the two made a fairly perfect team, with her friend knowing how to acquire food and provisions in order to survive another day and Mye knew how to fight if things went wrong. It was decided they'd try to go for overseas, whatever ship took them, and set to stowaway. Whether or not her friend made it is up to the player, as Mye would arrive on the docks of New Greenwich to begin life anew, making her home now for some odd years. She'd find the Resistance and decide to stay with them, though could also fall into any of the shifter groups depending upon her species, though would find their ways extremely different to the almost feral way she was brought up under the slave rings of pit fighting.

Jordan was brought to the Hungryman farms when she was only four. She never knew her actual parents and was told she'd been brought in only with a handful of other people, one of whom looked after her as if she were her own daughter. Her mother had been with them before but something had happened to her, of which her adoptive parent wouldn't speak of, no matter how much she pried. Jordan and the group she came in with had actually been humans on the run from the HLA, one of the few remaining groups to still survive the wilderness to avoid capture. She was later sold to a vampire that needed a housemaid, though he gradually taught her medicine, having been a doctor and still providing practices. For years, he treated her kindly and was the only servant he'd ever had until she expressed her loneliness on most days, since he was unavailable throughout the day and at night was often away on business. One day, however, the other servant suggested they flee, having been formerly with the Resistance. Jordan had been reluctantly convinced and went with them, amazed at how much of the world could be open to her eyes. What she doesn't know is that the vampire master had actually purchased her due to a promise he'd made her mother, the woman he'd fallen in love with before she'd died, and had been attempting to make enough money to see that he got her some place else where she could live freely. However this comes into play is up to the player.

Deidre was born into servitude with her mother having been a breeder on the farms (wherever born is up to player.) They served a single vampire lord that invested in stocks while having been successful in the decline of medicine throughout the war, owning several clinics and hospitals that span out across the country. Their master was practically known for his great mistreatment towards humans, his own servants included. Within his household alone, there were five that cooked, cleaned, and kept the yard tended to when not being summoned by the man's every beck and call. It wasn't until one evening that things had gotten too far. The master was in a greatly foul mood and took it out on Deidre's mother. She'd been pushed down the stairs and suffered an extreme head injury, leaving her in a coma. Rather than pay for the costs of keeping her hospitalized to see if she'd ever regain consciousness, her master essentially wrote it off as an accident and pawned her off to a bloodery. Deidre had seen it all and her mother was easily replaced within practically the next day with a new servant. One morning, she went about her usual routine of the day, only instead of going to do her duties after breakfast, she told all the servants in the house to leave. None did.. until they saw the gas can she carried. Naturally, she started with the master's bedroom while he slept but soon had the whole place drenched. She lit the match herself and, in the name of her mother, let it burn the whole place down while she and the servants fled. The Resistance found her after a few weeks of her fending on the streets, took her in, and she's been with them ever since, her experience of arson spanning into a desire for weaponry.

During the Blood War, a handful of humans managed to take some old bunker and fashioned it as a safe haven for their families. Over time it expanded, becoming a full underground community, tucked safely in the wide plains that left plenty open, perfectly to keep Ferocious and vampires from trespassing. A farm house was set over top of it as a front doubling as a watch house, a family living there also serving as watchmen. Being the third generation to dwell in the bunker, Mallory only knows life within the bunker and in the nearby flat fields. The only knowledge of actual cities being from books, much like her education. Her father looked after the farming to ensure they had food and she helped, gaining knowledge outside of schooling in how to grow plants. Sadly, the bunker was raided by the HLA when she was in her 20's and she found herself in Hungyman Cove for nearly the next decade, off limits to be sold as per orders of the Master of the City due to her knowledge and placed in the farm's greenery that provided food for the humans there. When Ryder's rebellion came to pass, she took her chance with the rest and was one of the handful able to full escape from the cove, taking root with Ryder in trying to establish a life outside of slavery.

Derek is Ryder's best friend and the man he leans on for support in his trying role as resistance leader. Calm, level headed and resourceful, the men do well bouncing ideas off each other, and if there was ever a man who could take Ryder's place, it would be Derek. Derek holds the position of Head of Security for the Resistance, and was with Ryder the night he broke out several hundred humans from the Farms. He was one of the few who actually escaped with Ryder, and has been with him since the beginning to help build up the Resistance. Derek is more ruthless than Ryder and believes they should not only seek equality but vengeance against supernaturals who want to put them in their place. There are several in the Resistance who follow this way of thinking, and the Head of Security has become more frustrated lately with their lack of progress in moving toward their ultimate goal: freedom.

Ethan hails from the U.K. and throughout the Blood War dedicated himself as a field medic towards both sides (pro and anti human sympathy), deeming that the real enemy was the Ferocious, not each other. He remained steadfast in not choosing a side and handled business accordingly until the war began to draw its tide in coming to what was hopefully an end. With less need to be had of his healing hands, he turned to science, favoring education in terms of chemistry and anatomy. Gradually, he spanned his way towards lending his services to the unsavory and found himself under Quetzala's hand. The two held a likeness for another in the sense of knowing how much the world needed changing. They became something of friends, maybe even more towards colleagues, who met on and off again throughout the years. When the time came for Zala to turn the Calpulli to a new front and a new leaf, along with a new crew, Ethan was asked aboard and gladly accepted. By day, he passed as a professor then settled for more of a librarian due to having less ties with a job that gave him an alibi and wages while still being able to be called away to business in taking care of any mess made by the Calpulli and its members.
As a cleaner, Ethan is efficient and quick to make short but grandiose work in assuring that any 'crime scene' will have been cleaned of any DNA, prints, and otherwise evidence to the Calpulli having been present or even if something need be covered up for their benefit. This deals with strong chemicals, all of which he's entirely familiar with, and sometimes having to resort to using fire or acid for means of disposal. Even if a body has to be removed in such a way, Ethan is not without respect of their possible religion (if he's aware of it). He believes every person is entitled to a proper burial and often takes their remains far out from any property that it might be discovered in order to adequately lay them to rest. Of course, if Zala were to order otherwise, he'd loyally obey. Given how the Calpulli often go about driving their competition out, his job is called upon quite often. It's also not uncommon for him to accompany members on particular jobs or assignments or to be present during extensive, extreme interrogations to ensure a captive is maintained until they've given all the information needed. His only purpose for now is to provide what the Calpulli needs. His own desires don't come first and they certainly don't get in the way of any goals placed before him. The only family he 'needs' is them

Running the shadier parts of the dock area Justin is in need of someone he can trust to help bring additional money in. These two can either be related (cousins) or simply two people that ran into each other randomly during Justin's crusades for selkie freedom in the British Isles. Her history is completely open beyond them meeting at some point. Her personality would mark her as the sort that is only loyal to whoever can pay her, if you'd like them to be genuine friends that's also doable but on a whole Justin's mentality is very much the same when it comes to 'friends'. This of course would change slightly if she were family though not by much.
The idea is that Justin runs the whole of the docks and all the shady things that come along with that (gambling, drug dealing, etc.), which brings in quite a bit of revenue but with his ties to the Resistance his time is precious so he basically needs a lackey to run his books and oversee the 'underground' operations he deals in. She would be afforded body guards and the like but she'd also be pretty self sufficient so whether she uses them or not is up to you.
As for species. If she's related she'd obviously be a selkie but I am open to her being something else as well, Djinn would be good as well. What I actually envision her as is a Unicorn but we currently don't have lore for this (I have it about half written right now) so if you'd like to explore this option please feel free to get in contact with me and I can flesh out what I'm working on in accordance to her and her species~

Justin & Jedda’s father is (or was, your choice) an adviser to the unseelie court, he's always been a calculating manipulative man who never left anything to doubt where his intentions or professional sway was concerned. This cold almost tyrannical way of being was not something he ever turned off when he went home, making it something that marked him as monstrous in the eyes of his children. As they aged they'd grow to understand him though setting aside their childhood for adult understanding left them rather estranged from the man. Their mother was a sharp contrast of their father, an ethereal being made of light and softness.
This man would be the type that is never satisfied with anything, least of all the accomplishments of his children and their fight against the tyranny of the world. Justin is, in a sense, more of a parental pleaser where as Jedda doesn't care about their father or what he thinks of them Justin does (not admittedly). Justin would likely be the first to reach out to their father when he shows up and where Justin goes Jedda follows though she'd be far more loathsome over his appearance than Justin will.
This character is pretty open as far his future is concerned, with his silver tongue and history in politics he could easily be placed into a higher position, possibly business CEO or even something political. If nothing else there might be room for him at the docks with Justin. We'd like his appearance to be fairly recent, perhaps spurned on by the breach and the need to make sure his legacy was still intact? Up to you so long as it's a recent development.

Ferocious are overrunning the city and it’s up to your character to get to safety. With the numbers the DN and the police are facing regarding the invasion there’s just no way for anyone to fight back and win. Your only choice is to flee.
Ferocious
