2021 vs 2017
2021/2017 My art changed, it doesn't mean better, but art feels more. I can do more things that are on my mind but surprisingly things get created during the process without thinking. Imagination, creation, randomness mixed with ideas. About the character: Her name is Ευθαλία (Euthalia) and means well blooming, rich of growing referred to vegetation. She creates flowers and let them out in the world to bloom. The flowers mean what she creates with her mind and body, you can say it is about art, painting, writing, dancing, singing etc, but it is also about wisdom, prayers, imagination and ideas. Whatever you create with your mind or/and with your body, everything go out in the world even in the invisible world. The flowers can find their place, come back fulfilled or get lost in the vast of infinite existence. The character herself, is a fantasy creature,a mix of human and goat/sheep which is a symbol of connecting with your inner child, being pure, truthful and allowing yourself to do what you truly love doing. Her clothes are transparent, loose and open cutted meaning there is nothing to hide, being open, no need to fear or being shameful. She always has a tired and longing face, as she is exhausted of life but still has the longing to create and build her garden of life filled with more fully bloomed flowers, flowers ready to bloom in the future, but tries to avoid withered flowers that take her down. The place she is in, is a forest with lake in perfect hiding, invisible for others to see and impossible to enter. It is a symbol of your inner full world that only you can be in that and no one else. Other people can't see or recognise that place and can't enter. But in existence nothing is impossible and there will always be someone who try to enter that hidden place. She can't always recognise or realise if the intruder is well in hiding or get in deeper. Realizing or not, there is no guarantee how her place might turn out,it can be peaceful like paradise, chaos like disaster, switching between, shared with other inner worlds - expanded.Caused by herself, the intruder or the natural secret place itself. All existence is unpredictable, we try to adapt or escape.
Hello, I am alive! I'm going to try to get into the rythm of posting once again (if I'm not shadowbanned, that is). Have some very literal studies, I just translated TheDrawingDatabase's video on this topic. He is a great teacher!
Say hi to Alan, a character from my story! I tried to draw a person from memory, I think it's decent. It took me about an hour. I have some other characters from this story that I'm working on.
Goodbye, Coco. You were an angel and you should be drawn accordingly.
Adiós, Coco. Eras un ángel y se te debería dibujar así.
Here is the result of previous painting process video. This painting was a practice for traditional art with oils. And I love painting landscapes they are so beautiful to create and to watch for a very long time!
No, I’m not dead. This is a collab with oku_rgr on Instagram.
A more personal work in progress.
This is what the internet was made for!
