Who's taking a trip to Selfridges before Oct 25th?
wonderful pictures. (i believe this project took place in Oslo)
The streets look so deserted, yet the images capture and reveal the "invisible landscape of networks that is becoming an interwoven part of daily life".
but my question remain, as im seeing how strong the signals are, are we growing apart as technology advance? will it be that one day, we will stop talking to each other, stop face to face interaction?
one word : supercool.

By the way, during the time you're gonna be there ( there as in San Francisco) , it's considered fleet week. Meaning, there's gonna be a whole bunch of sailors, navy men, and air force individuals there. Many good looking guys who will be on the prowl. Just so you know. ;)

I dont mind if a man has no money, no career but at least he needs to know what he wants and work for it, not just bullshit and do nothing but blame the world

stevieying:
june is not over yet and i’m close to 55K miles, might actually hit 100K this year.
although i love to travel, I dont particularly like flying…even tho im quite petite, always have plenty of space i dont enjoy cramped up for too long and i can rarely sleep. (even tho most of the flights i take are red-eyed flights)
but there’s one thing i like about flying (besides the fact that it transport me to another location :-p) - the view.
Last week when i return to HK from SH i enjoyed the most amazing view. our plane came in HK via the east, went over shatin and toured above the harbor. It was about 10pm and all the lights were on, just like diamonds and jewels sparking. The highways are my favorite. They were lit up like rays of liquid gold flowing down the stream….and it wasnt a perfectly clear sky, there were some dark clouds, but not too much, just enough to add an dramatic cast to the entire picture. It was so magnificent, so breath-taking I couldnt get my eyes off…Hong Kong is truly beautiful!
Today i left HK for SH at 1700, the sunset was again, amazing. all the colors in the sky, reflecting on the thick clouds, shining on the wing and cabin…the colors changes each second…one moment its orange and the next purple….
I remember one time, I was flying from Oslo to Copenhagen in Dec, the weather was terrible. we had a two hour delay and finally after boarding we waited for almost another hour. The flight was suppose to take off at like 5am or something…by the time we take off it was past 8. Winters are dark and long in Scandinavia. and luckily it was dark and long…I was able to witness sunrise from the plane. It wasnt the first sunrise i’ve seen while flying, but it was the most memorable one. Because of the bad weather, one side of the sky was dark and angry. I was lightening on my right, and when i look to the left, it was a peaceful sunrise. and sunrise in the nordic sky is not like sunrise near the equator. Have you seen ‘the scream’ from Munch? im not kidding, sunset and sunrise during the winter is like that.
all that makes the rather hectic flying just a bit more enjoyable….
attached photo is today’s sunset.
one wise man once told me, ‘life is beautiful, we just need to slow down to appreciate that.’
