Pluto (2025)
Country: Thailand
Release Dates: Oct 19, 2024 - Jan 4, 2025

Watch Dates: March 27 - Apr 4, 2025 (#3)
Rating: 6/10
Initial Thoughts - 250327: Iâm suddenly wanting to watch this⊠I had this in my Options list just in case I ran out of GL and wanted to watch another one but right now, Iâm not out of GL, I just specifically want to watch this GL lol. Iâll look forward to starting it today/tomorrow.
Overall Thoughts: I hoped to like it more than I did. The characters are all frustrating and making bad choices but that's not a problem for me, I expected that. But this show lacked intrigue and tension, every character knew the other charactersâ secrets, so it felt like there wasnât really any tension - like May knew that Oon was pretending the whole time, so why would I care how she would react when it all finally came to light? The whole âMay loved Oon first after their one fleeting high school interaction and therefore actually loved Oon the whole time despite being in a relationship with Oomâ is so⊠silly. I liked May and Oon interactions earlier on because it was so cute but also shrouded in secrets but I think after this childhood reveal and obsession with who May fell for first, I stopped caring much. I liked the sistersâ relationships with the grandma and how it different and how they each felt neglected, even if the grandma didnât mean it that way. The relationship between the sisters was interesting too and how they wanted what the other had. Phim, Pang, Jan love triangle was pretty interesting and I kept hoping for them to get together but Iâll take that successive 3 pairs of kisses lol. I didnât at all like how they did the whole âoh being blind for 2 years was Mayâs karma and punishment and her getting her sight back means she has been punished enoughâ like no⊠disability is not a moral failing. The acting and crafting of the show was good, but the writing⊠sigh. And not much emotional investment from me, took me over a week to watch it and doubt Iâll think of it again.

Watch Date: Apr 4 - 8, 2025 (#4)
Rating: 6/10
Initial Thoughts - 250404: I put this in my Options list on 250327 because it's one of the most liked 2025 shows early in the air and seems cute, so I was gonna watch it later on but similar to Pluto, I suddenly wanted to watch it and pulled it from Options to Currently Watching lol
Overall Thoughts: Overall, cute but not memorable and got boring/had missteps by the end. In some ways, Rak and Fah are a little Too Polite and Too Sweet for me, so I found them a little boring after 12 episodes, but I did enjoy them overall. I really liked the glimpses of Hia and Real because they were still like best friends who are always at each otherâs throats and it made for a fun romantic dynamic. Ghlai and Lee were alright, cute enough but I was hoping for more after seeing how charming they are in Duang With You trailer. I really wish they didnât go with the Oh âredemptionâ arc because why would I give a single fuck⊠and I wish everybody didnât so readily forgive the dadâs homophobic outbursts, even though it was good to see that Rakâs fears were real and grounded

The Heart Killers (2025)
Country: Thailand
Release Dates: Nov 20, 2024 - Feb 12, 2025
Watch Via: Youtube
Status: â Watched
Watch Dates: March 21 - 25, 2025 (#2)
Rating: 6.5/10
Initial Impression: I can't tell if the overall reception was good or not but I might watch it for the ships and the (crime + humourous?) shenanigans. Not too high hopes on the plot and coherent storyline but hoping for great chemistry between KhaoFirst and JoongDunk. (I reread the GMMTV 2024 Part 2 and apparently this was my #1 most anticipated)
Overall Impression: Generally enjoyed it, liked the first half more than the second half, though Ep 6-7 run is probably my fave. It was extremely important that I know that, apparently, the creators and actors were touting it as a rom-com, so I knew the focus was going to be on the relationships developing and hearing mixed reviews (esp about how it kinda derailed at the end) also helped bc i thought it was going to be worse than it was. Liked the main characters well enough and ships, Kant and Bison more so toward the beginning. I thought it was more fun when Kant was using Bison more clearly at the beginning, like he would be putting himself through the pain that Bison likes and be mostly flirting with the goal in mind (he fell for Bison later than Style fell for Fadel) + the way Bison flew off the handle after finding out about it and kidnapped Kant and treated him badly. Wasnât really into how sugary, sweet, and boring they were in the last 1/3 of the show tbh. I was surprised by how much I liked Fadel (and Style) and their couple being kinda DunkJoong, a new and exciting dynamic. They really hit some emotional beats for me (ep 6 Fadel saying I love you + dancing with + hugging Style after learning of his betrayal) and many of the sexy vibes as well (ep 8 bathtub sceneâŠ). I wrote so much for this in my actual show post.

ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat (2025)
Country: Thailand
Release Dates: Dec 13, 2024 - Mar 7, 2025
Watch Via: Youtube
Status: â Watched
Watch Dates: March 16 - 28, 2025 (#1)
Rating: 6.5/10
Overall Impression: Been looking forward to this one since the pilot trailer. Overall, an enjoyable show and I like the relationship between Thame/Po and also Thame & Mars. I also liked getting to see my beloved celeb/non-celeb trope and also idolverse trope (though I didn't actually watch or listen to much of the songs/performances, they weren't for me). The show seemed polished in terms of direction, cinematography, styling, etc; they followed the kdrama styling that it seemed like they were aiming for. However, I do think being so into kpop hindered my enjoyment when it strayed from like... what makes sense. I couldn't figure out how popular Mars were and the disbanding Mars + Thame Korean debut didn't make much sense to me. But I liked Thame and Po well enough as characters and the storyline of the show, even if it did get muddy sometimes.

Watch Dates: May 3 - 4, 2025 (#6)
Rating: 6.5/10
Initial Impression - 250327: toxic, messy kBL, that's fun! Everybody was invested, I'm curious to see it.
Overall: I had a lot of fun by not seeing the letter say "Soohyun" and so Daon's old feelings for Soohyun were never spelled out to me in the show, only strongly hinted at going forward. I enjoyed all the actors' performances and how fucked up each character was, though of course the degree varies. Jaemin was soooo fucked in the head, quite enjoyable to figure out why the hell he was doing his stupid agreement plan and to see what other master manipulator, schemer, trickster stuff he had up his sleeve. Soohyun was really fucking scary fr, he scared me more than Jaemin usually because he's so violent but I do have to say some of his scenes with Daon were cute/hot. Sunghyeon would get the side eye from me in other shows for being too obsessive and overbearing, I'd want him to leave Daon alone and also to gain some self-respect; however, in this show, he's doing great lol. Seeing Daon navigate this craazy situation was interesting, there were multiple instances when I didn't really understand why he was doing what he was doing but he made sense to me in general. I think the writing and acting was quite good, the show was enjoyable to watch, and it was all very melodramatic but not too much for me.

Watch Date: June 7 - 22, 2025 (#10)
Rating: 6/10
Initial Thoughts - 250327: Seems cute and fun but also being a bit messy? People seem to love the first 6 eps and then were disappointed in ep 7, but seems like the first 6 eps are still worth it?
Overall Thoughts: I liked the characters and their messy relationships with each other and how they'd make bad choices or self-sabotage. It was interesting to watch but I wasn't super invested in Fou4Mod or Chian, and especially grew quite detached when we kept repeating the same situationship -> Fou4Mod tries to define the relationship -> avoid each other for a little bit -> situationship cycle. But in the last few eipsodes, I really fell for Baabin and Bua's dynamic and relationship. I think they are sooooo cute and am afraid of what the hell they're gonna put them through in season 2. The directing and filming with iphones was wild + I liked the social media usage + the parallels and throughlines, it's clear a lot of thought and passion was put into the project.

Status: â Watched
Watch Date: May 6 - 7, 2025 (#7)
Rating: 6/10
Initial Thoughts: - 250421: Usually I just watch the more popular, well-liked shows because the watchlist is sooo long that I haven't even gotten to some of my most anticipated shows yet. But I saw some beautiful, vibey shots in a tweet + I had bookmarked BL Update's tweet about this on Twitter on April 11 but... saw this tiktok with face slapping awoooooo so ofc I should watch it...Â
Overall Thoughts: Great cinematography, really gorgeous, I'm craving lychees so fucking bad and want to go away to a beautiful island for the summer ;-; I liked the dynamic between Chen Li and Xiao Ji, they were fun and had easy chemistry. But I'm not super attached and the writing could've been tighter and clearer.

Rating: 6/10 for whole show
Initial Impression: This year I've been wanting to watch it because I was curious to see PerthSanta and JuniorMark.
Overall: Man, I watched the first arc like 10 months ago and just DNF-ed it but throughout this year, I kept thinking maybe I'll actually pick it back up. Finally watched it mostly because I just needed an easy fluff show to binge. In the end, I liked these 16 eps better than the first 8 for sure. I like both of these pairings more than FB. I liked Faifa's storyline + the Yotha-Faifa sibling relationship and complicated family situation. Not sure high on my list of shows and there were episodes that I found really boring but it made me anticipate PerthSanta and JuniorMark's upcoming shows (Love You Teacher, My Romance Scammer) or just their work in the future.

Overall Thoughts: A short, silly show with not much substance but that was what I needed during the few days before I went on vacation - no time for a 12 episode show with new characters and ups and downs. FahRak: same old, same old. Wish the jealousy plots had some bite but oh well. Theyâre cute enough but not memorable to me. RealHia: My beloveds, wish they had more time. That episode two stint with the play fighting with kisses was so good, love their dynamic. LeeGhlai: Somewhat boring because they made Ghlai boring but the hand holding scene was cute.

Watch Date: May 18 - 19 , 2025 (#9)

Internal Thoughts - March: I love a celebrity romance and everybody seems to have loved it. I am really keen to see older bottom-younger top pursuer + there are a few angsty Episode 6 clips that I saw on Twitter that have been haunting me since then. I was a bit nervous about whether it'll end sadly because they keep hinting at S2 but seems that's not the case.
Overall Thoughts: Romance and drama following a celebrity couple with a younger pursuer/top and older pursued/bottom character, it really was everything it said on the tin and the good acting that people were raving about as well. I really enjoyed the actor and celebrity aspect of this. The show knew what to focus on with a setting like this, the conflicts included things like the court of public opinion, sasaengs, leaks/rumours/photos, nosy paparazzi/reporters, contracts and entertainment companies, some amounts of envy from Akin towards Jin because they're rivals in their career. I wish we got the fallout from them being exposed to the public though. I enjoyed Jin and Akin's relationship and dynamic, they were really endearing. We also got to learn quite a bit about Akin, so I wish we got to know Jin a bit more too. Jade is my favourite character, though: he's intelligent, attractive, and somebody who gets things done. Has some really good stand out scenes, like the Episode 6 car confrontation scene where Jin thinks Akin is cheating on him and Episode 9 breakup scene. The script, direction, and acting is so good in all of them. I hope they make seasons 2 and 3 like they planned, I'd watch.

Initial Thoughts - May 30: no actual clue what this is about but saw a few tiktok and was like oh? and then this gifset and woahhhh how fun. It's a 10-minute 4-episode Youtube show but could be cute, similar to Litchi Island
Overall Thoughts: Very short, nothing much can actually happen despite the interesting setting/dynamics/plot butttt I can't deny it, I think it's cute and fun. I liked their dynamic, banter, and sexual tension.

Initial Thoughts: Heard it's cute + people were saying the kiss/NC scenes were good
Overall Thoughts: A very fun show with good character dynamics, Jungwoo and Jiwon's interactions made me feel giddy. I also really like Jungwoo, I was surprised by how fond I was of him and how some of his lines touched me. Very watchable, I binged it in a day. Jiwon's acting... it's not bad but since I found Jungwoo's acting to be good, Jiwon's side felt lacking and unauthentic, didn't elicit any emotion from me. Another criticism I had was The ep 3 and 4 which showed the real (?) interactions in the yellow-lit room wasn't depicted well either. Overall, good and fun but not super memorable.

Initial Thoughts: Been seeing gifs and clips of it since its release, liked everybody being mad at Sorn the whole time loll
Overall Thoughts: I knew going in that this show was focused entirely on Jun and Sorn's relationship and how it progressed + it involved a lot of sex, so I really didn't have a problem with it being a romance show whose focus was on the characters and their relationships. I liked the setup and I liked the payoff of Sorn sad and begging even more, I'm glad that lasted 2-3 episodes heh. Jun's so charming actually, I like that he's so outgoing and friendly with everybody. It also made me root for Jun to get what he wants but also root against Sorn for hurting Jun. Sorn is frustrating because he's soooo thick-headed and lying to himself but the episodes of him begging were cathartic lol. I do wish he had... improved more I guess. Like he admitted to his feelings, so overcame one big hurdle that was preventing him and Jun from being together, but he's still overly possessive, runs his mouth, and jumps on Jun regardless of time and place. Although I guess Jun fell for Sorn because of all that, so it's fine? The sex scenes were also fine, nothing really got under my skin and I wish their kissing wasn't always so frantic/wish their hands seemed to have more purpose during makeout scenes but I did like certain scenes like ep 8 bathroom/bed scene + the ep 12 fire escape. Overall, just a fun time, it was good to watch a few episodes per day and wait for ep 12.

Country: Thailand
Release Dates: Jun 1, 2025 - Aug 4, 2025
Watch Via: ;>
Status: â Watched
Watch Date: Aug 4 - 7, 2025 (#17)
Rating: 6.5/10
Initial Impression - Aug 4: I've kept an eye on it since May when teasers started coming out because it seems like a fun, over-the-top concept + I want to see Pond as lead in something. The reviews have been good until the very end of the show, so I'm hoping to really like it.
Overall Thoughts: I wanted a bit more to be done with the actual concept, more about Reset and the time shenanigans and original murder mystery. There was always stuff happening and story progressing but it was mostly like trials and tribulations in 1999, not trying to clue together what happened in the past (except a bit toward the beginning) and no like timey-wimey stuff either beyond "yeah i'm from the future but i died back then." I just feel like more interesting stuff could've been done with it. This reminded me of To Sir With Love in terms of the lakorn drama (though TSWL was more intense lol) and Love For Love's Sake with second chance at living your same life. The actors were great, very skilled and I liked them as a pair, they had good chemistry. Glad I got to see Pond as the main lead in a proper BL. The drama and slander and murder attempts were fun and I also like a celebrity trope. I liked seeing some people from the cast who I know from other BLs and see them pl evil/evil-adjacent characters here. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful cat Armin. Fun enough to watch, don't think I'll think about it much.

Status: â Watched
Watch Date: Aug 7 - 12, 2025 (#18)
Rating: 7.5/10
Initial Impression: Iâve been seeing a lot of clips on Twitter or Tiktok, it seems very addictive, the main couple seems cute, I know a lot about the show and its spoilers. They broke up in this weekâs episodes and it made me feel the angst just through a few twitter clips (similar to the car breakup scene in Top Form). Iâm excited. + incredibly into Ziyuâs beautiful face, woah. Also, a Chinese BL, they're really doing it.
Overall Thoughts: It's been like 5 days since I finished this show and I still think about it constantly. Every character was a schemer and a manipulator, both the main couple, side couple, Wang Shuo, they all had their own agendas and underhanded methods. Made for a fun show. I'm obsessed with WSW (and Ziyu's face). He's so charming, you really root for him and his schemes lol. I think CC, GCY, JXS all being unapologetically queer balanced out WSW's situation. CC has known he's been into men for at least a decade and his parents have also known of how he's dated countless men. It's not them coming to terms with new information but rather them trying to straighten him out for the sake of societal standing. Chi Cheng and his father's conversation in ep 22 was truly one of my favourite things in the whole show. I LOVED the main couple, I'm being haunted by Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei. They had me giddy and happy but also angsty and sad. I fully bought into it. Also 2Cheng so good bc of the toxic yaoi obviously but also bc i love that they're like 2 openly gay bffs + tops apparently and were just all over each other. The sex scenes weren't super explicit and that's fine but the behinds of them are crazzzzy omg. I wish I was Tian Xuning just throwing Ziyu around. I was disappointed how they barely kissed in the last third of the show, just pecks and none in the last ep. My fave BL so far this year, it's soooo addictive and I was just so delighted when watching. Had fun, laughed a lot, really felt it during the angsty parts. I really bought into the CCWei ship, they made me sooo giddy, which is exactly what I want from these BLs. Stand Out: Some of the fucking BTS... brother..., gay ass 2Cheng, ep 18 angsty break-up scenes + sad CC, ep 22 CC and his dad convo

Initial Thoughts: Been keeping an eye on this show since July 16 of this Tiktok edit, it seemed like a fun premise.
Overall Thoughts: The usual jBL series thing happened again where I just don't care, it doesn't touch me, I feel so removed from the characters so even though this is a significant emotional scene, I feel nothing. Also I got bored and skipped like almost all of ep 5, that's a sign that I'm not attached at all.

Initial Thoughts: Iâve heard a lot of good things about this GL, it seems well-liked and fun! Friends to enemies to lovers, celebrity/actress, body swap, it could be fun and full of hijinks
Overall Thoughts: This was very fun, I liked the cutesy moments of Rey and Print hanging out, going on dates, having fun and MaiFon's little antagonistic start in the story, bits and pieces of their past, and then they were so cute and sexy once they got together. I was smiling a lot through both couples' scenes. Both the main and secondary couple's actors are sooo beautiful like I was into all of their faces and visuals which doesn't usually happen in anything regardless of gender. I however have 2 big critiques and they really did knock the show down for me. 1) There wasn't a reckoning of how Rey's family was the cause of so much of Print's misfortune. Rey's mother was the reason Print lost Glitter Girl those years ago and then she literally brought forth a scandal which damaged Print's reputation + lost her jobs. It just felt so... off how we're supposed to brush past Print's hardships which were specifically caused by Rey's mother and how much worse these setbacks are for Print due to her circumstances (especially when she was just starting) compared to Rey's privileged life and 2) The last 2-3 eps felt like they were just fast-forwarding through things, scene after another, instead of actually sinking into the events and taking their time with storylines. Overall, one of the better GLs I've watched even though I'm ending with my critiques lol, it made me feel giddy.

Love in the Moonlight
Country: Thailand
Release Dates: Sep 15, 2025 - Oct 21, 2025
Watch Via: ;>
Status: â Watched
Watch Date: Nov 2 - 4, 2025 (#22)
Rating: 6.5/10
Initial Thoughts: Last year, I had seen this Tiktok edit based on the pilot trailer and saved it because I liked the concept. Then I totally forgot about it until it started airing a couple months ago and it still seemed like something Iâd be really into. I know some things about the last episode + peopleâs reactions to it (mainly how happily they wrapped up some things in a bow even though it shouldnât have been) and so Iâm going into the show knowing that and hoping that the ending wouldnât irritate me too much if I end up liking the whole show otherwise.
Overall Thoughts: This was reminiscent of To Sir, With Love in terms of the historical setting, the lakorn drama, as well as the plot like how one of them is a gay aristocrat/important heir, so the family's trying to keep it a secret while that man is falling for somebody from a lower class. The ending was artificially happy, the father didn't deserve a redemption so late in the game after having done sooo much terrible stuff. But I was glad to see Saenkaew happy in the end since he got his family. This is another show where I liked the first half better than the second half, I liked Saenkaew and Sasin being enemies in the beginning but then them becoming a fun little trio with Pin. I liked all the great female characters, both in supportive and villainous roles (I wish Pin had a bit more of her own happy ending in the end with money + a lover or something that made her actually feel loved since that was something she was clearly struggling with. Like even her father was horrible to her in the end right before dying). The thing about the romance is hmmm, I liked Saenkaew and Sasin when they were with Pin or when they were bickers as enemies and friends. I liked the show, the characters, Sasin/Saenkaew well enough but I doubt I'll think about them again (except maybe Pin whenever I think of Perth).

Overall Thoughts: Odajima was great. He didn't outwardly express emotions, he was a very repressed character but very compelling; his backstory with his family and Asahi was well done to show why Odajima is the way he is. Kataoka was interesting, especially the way he knew full well that Odajima was trying to kill him but it didn't affect how he interacted with Odajima (beyond dropping lines like "Odajima, you're clumsiest in the weirdest ways. Don't screw this up" in ep 1, holding Odajima's shaking hand in ep 3, "Is this revenge for your friend?" in ep 6). Keito was also was pretty interesting, his storyline of being envious of Kataoka since childhood until he put a hit on him because he believed his father would name Kataoka as the successor, only for it all to be futile because he was his father's only son and he was named successor. I'm overall impressed by the scriptwriting, the dialogue, and how the series wasn't afraid of keeping things vague or not giving explanations until later (ex. Odajima's murders, Asahi's reason of death, etc.). It did really well for a 2.5 hour length series, there was a lot of ground covered without feeling rushed and it was a compelling watch.

Initial Thoughts: I was apprehensive about this one because Domundi's scriptwriting is shaky and doesn't always hold up but it's getting a lottt of hype.
Overall Thoughts: This is DMD's best crafted show in terms of actual scriptwriting and story progression, it's tied with Bed Friend for me where the story was a bit rougher around the edges but I was more invested in the main characters/couple than I was here. I liked the bits we got of the different past lives. The horror/Ramphueng storyline was certainly a focus but it never scared or worried me (except once w grandma). I wanted it to be more horrifying, I wanted the weight of it all to be oppressive and for Khem to be terrified of dying. Everything felt too... mellow to me, like occasionally we'd get a side story that they'd make intense but I wanted Khem's story itself to have more intensity, it did in the very beginning and toward the end but there was a lull in the middle. I never quite connected with Khem or ParanKhem and I think my point above was the reason. Khem is so bland to me, just a nice kid who smiles and there is some desperation with how he kept asking Paran to help him but he was so mellow in general + also I found him so naive and stupid sometimes, it was offputting. I would've liked more paranoia, more intensity. ParanKhem should work for me on paper but made me feel nothing. Jet and Charn on the other hand won me over tremendously. I think they are soooo cute and they make me incredibly giddy whenever they're on screen together. I like the differences between them, especially how Charn's so polite and Jet's such a menace. I liked their past life Jin and Da too, it makes me happy to see them work out in this timeline even if not in the past one. I'll always be happy to see BLs with a horror/thriller plot, so I hope DMD and other companies continue to do them after Khemjira's success, especially if they have a big budget and pretty good handle on the plot like this one.

Initial Thoughts: This show didnât call to me when I watched the pilot trailer and I didnât care for WinnySatang in MSP. When I watched GMMTV 2025, it was on my last rung of shows, I wasnât anticipating it at all. However, now that itâs airing, people have been enjoying it and Iâve heard just generally positive opinions, so I think Iâll give it a go. Ep 9 and 10 arenât out yet, hope the show lands well.
Overall Thoughts: Fine, I think. It gave me vague impressions of Never Let Me Go occasionally (beach, difference in status, just some story beats) but I liked NLMG and its characters more. Davin and Lava were pretty fun and I liked their interactions, especially when they were more antagonistic and starting their relationship, but theyâre not really characters Iâll think about again. The last episode was a bit ? at parts but I think thatâs kinda part for the course with Jojo BLs.

Watch Date: Dec 4 - 26, 2025 (#27)
Rating: 8.5/10
Initial Thoughts: I heard about this because it was originally only going to be distributed in Canada and people were joking about it being funded by Canadian tax dollars, but I donât really care about hockey romances, so it didnât pique my interest. Then Episodes 1 and 2 came out and I became very taken by Shane Hollander and how⊠obedient and pliant and cute he is in a few of the gifs and clips I saw lol + how Ilya handle Shane (ex. Ilya holding Shaneâs chin all the time, Shane nuzzling Ilyaâs crotch gif and Ilyaâs hand brushing his head, Ilya tenderly touching Shane in a gifset). Also my whole Twitter FYP became clips from the show and spoilers from the novel. I also saw this clip from the Spare Parts podcast where Jacob calls Ilya a soft dom and talked a bit about the power dynamics and that was sooo intriguing too.
Overall Thoughts: What an incredible surprise, so glad that it was all over my twitter timeline when the first 2 episodes came out and that I decided to watch it, whew! I love Shane, the way he's so in control of everything except sooo pliant and obedient when in bed Ilya, the way Hudson plays him as such a wound-up character whose emotions are often on display on his face + Hudson and Jacob bringing in knowledge of his autism into the show. I love Ilya, I love seeing the character start off so abrasive and transform throughout the episode, I loveeee his whole ordeal with his family - it's always a theme/topic I enjoy seeing. I liked Svetlana a lot a lot a lot, I'm glad they made her a bigger character in the series and I enjoyed seeing Ilya with her and their ease together. I bought into the progression of Ilya and Shane's relationship, how it started meaning something more to both of them but they kept taking turns getting cold feet and becoming distant until they both decided to give it a go at the same time. It was interesting to see their story and feelings progress throughout not only the actual story scenes but also the intimate scenes. I think Scott and Kip are the biggest meh for me in this series. I like the themes explored and the sadness of circumstances but the actual couple and their chemistry did nothing for me. Hudson and Connor are both very charming. I've had so many thoughts throughout December because it took up 99% of my brain this month and I don't know how to write it all here. Just overall, incredible, I'm glad I watched it weekly.

Title (Country - Date finished):
When It Rains, It Pours (Jpn - Feb 21): Heard it's a delicious cheating show lol let's go
The Ex-Morning (Thai - July 24): One of my most anticipated releases for this year, the KristSingto exes-to-lovers of it all is very appealing. I've heard generally good things
Shine (Orchestric Ver.)Â (Thai - Sep 20): June 23 - trailer: This was quite interesting. I didn't care much at all when the news about it filming/releasing because I really didn't gaf about KinnPorsche by the end of that series, so I didn't care about MileApo much either. But I'm pretty intrigued by the trailer, I like the vastly different dynamic Mile and Apo are playing, I'd be curious about what the show has to say + seeing 1969 Thailand. I wonder how much they'll get to fit in 8 eps tho || After show ended, people seemed to generally like it? And seemed like it focused on stuff outside of the romance, so I'm looking forward to that.
Me and Who (Thai - Dec 5): iâm soooo into the pilot trailer, the body switch + arranged marriage + mind-reading and the general opinions seem to be good

Rating: 8/10
Overall Thoughts: Watched it at the theatres, yayy $5 on a Tuesday. Knew a few things before going in (vampires, a Black cast, villain is a white vampire, people were joking about being wary of inviting people into their home, saw the clip of Mary telling Stack that after he'd had his tongue up her cooch and fucked her so hard she'd thought he'd changed his mind, and I spoiler about not being able to blame [somebody i don't rmr] as a mother because of smth with her child and I guess it was about Grace calling everybody in). But overall still everything was a huge surprise, I didn't know music would play such a big part or that it was a historical. I really enjoyed it, I think it blended the messaging about Black people's lives at the time with the horrors of vampirism well. The relationships all got me, the brotherly one between Stack and Smoke, the romantic ones (Smoke/Annie, Stack/Grace, Sammy/Pearline), the familial one between the twins and Sammy. I teared up 2.5 times (I Lied To You musical sequence where the past present and future meet, when Annie is in white and holding their child in Smoke's flashback when they've all passed on, and a biiiit at the end when I thoughts of the tragedy of Stack and Mary living on as vampires). Overall really enjoyable, crafted and acted superbly, I was fully engaged. Also, they gave me Annie's hand around Smoke's throat + pussy eating + Mary spitting in Stack's mouth (this one realllly got me like woah).

Release Dates: Jun 6, 2025

Status: â Watched
Watch Date: July 26 - 27, 2025 (#16)
Rating: 6.5/10
Initial Thoughts: Saw it mentioned a few times on Tiktok in the last week after finishing Mouse and I need a crime thriller to watch this weekend, starting this relatively short one
Overall Thoughts: There truly was mercy for none, everybody freaking died but that's how it had to be. A short 4.5 hour long show where a hyung wanted to avenge the murder of his younger brother, it was full of action and violence (!) and some mystery + strategizing. I liked watching the fight sequences, Gijun had aura for real with how good he was and how terrified everybody else was of him. I liked certain themes and parallels though. I will always be into a revenge-for-sibling angle. The way Junmo and Geumson mirrored being spoiled sons who don't actually fully grasp this life despite wanting the respect and power that comes with it. In the end, they were both their fathers' downfalls. Really enjoyed Geumson and Gijun's final conversation and Geunsom's realization that he's not meant for this life before trying to kill himself. The show really was gory, didn't shy away, some of it was quite gross like Yeong Do's finger slicing + Geumson's wrist hanging by a thread. Not quite 7 because the show didn't quite have me hooked and I likely won't think about it again.

Squid Game Season 3 (2025)
Country: South Korea
Release Dates: Jun 27, 2025
Watch Via: ;>
Status: â Watched
Watch Date: June 27 - 28, 2025 (#12)
Rating: 5.5/10
Initial Thoughts: I watched it ASAP after work because I didn't wanna be spoiled and I had some hopes...
Overall Thoughts: This is the ending you get at the end of season 1: an open ending where the cycle continues on but by the end of season 3? When the whole purpose was to "stop the games" or whatever? Neither Gihun or Junho succeeded in anything since the start of season 2. stupid and unsatisfying, especially because this season was so weak compared to the others. What a shame that the series which got me into kdramas and actually made in interested in shows/movies in general turned out like this. Agh. Also, the women in this series hm... Junhee with her baby, No Eul's regrets regarding her child & thus trying to save the guy for his child, the grandma doing everything for her child (including stopping him from killing Junhee at the end). The women's stories were... extremely child centric. Hyunju my beloved literally died ep 2 and the shaman lady at least didn't have a child storyline but again, dead at ep 2. This didn't have answers or confrontations or tear-down of the games but the least they could've done is give us characters and relationships to cling to but everybody died early on, I wasn't invested in the characters who were left, and the last game was sooo stupid. I was so over that stupid baby as well. Whatever man, an overall disappointment, esp when I binged in 7 hours the day it was releasedâŠ

Overall Thoughts: An intriguing thriller that had me hooked, I really like the eerie cinematography. Everybody was horrible and that was fun. I wasn't super duper compelled by any of the characters the way I was for PSIHY but I think all the women did well. I'm glad to see some of the newer female cast as main roles (Jingjing, Piploy, Ploypach) and it's also fun to see mixed-gender ensemble shows (even though the guys didn't matter much lol). There were a lot of mysteries and questions and I'm satisfied with their answers but I don't think any of this will stay with me the way Wanwan's ending did for example (the very last scene showing the murder was good though).

Thoughts as I watch: Trevor stole? a pizza from somebody's porch (unless he had it ordered to a random address ig). Mia has a black eye? that fucker. oh, the way Trevor spoke to Mia at 4:45... Mia obviously saw his whole demeanor shift. Ayo.
Overall Thoughts: First thing I watched since Heated Rivalry, it's been a whole month and this kind of reminded me of how much I enjoy crime-thriller movies/shows. I enjoyed the setup and you knew early on that Trevor's not as innocent as he looks but it was thrilling to follow him as he fucks up more and more. I really liked Mia and Kelly Bastard's acting for her. It was paced and told well for a 22 minute short, it makes me wonder how good it could've been if it were longer - Trevor's backstory would definitely have to be explored more (his current situation and how he ended up there, there were hints of stuff in his past like when the old guy was asking him questions he kept getting lost in thought + maybe when the mother gave him the necklace) but I think we could also get a bit more of a history on Kelly and why she is where she is. I think in terms of Hudson's acting, I don't know how to word it but sometimes I think his voice needs to be more versatile or something. This is also from 3 years ago, makes me curious to see where Hudson goes in terms of acting and directing.

Planned for 2024Â - these were announced with the plans for 2024 release
Lost Interest
Flirt Milk
Initial Reaction: Saw the Pilot in 2023 - I donât have much faith or curiosity about Starhunter shows but I watched the mock trailer and think the âwe both change ourselves to fit the otherâ thing is funny
Lost Interest - 250320: It looks bad and not like what I hoped lol
Knock Out (Thai - July 18)
Initial Reaction: Watched pilot trailer on Apr 4, into it and now that it's done, I've heard the couple has very good chemistry
Lost Interest - Oct 7, 2025: I added it because I heard the chemistry of the main couple was good but I don't think I'll actually get to it bc it seems long without like an interesting enough plot for me to spend time on it
Pit Babe Season 2 (Thai - July 25)
Initial Reaction: Wasn't into Pit Babe 2 pilot trailer, was way more anamoured with the Goddess Bless You From Death pilot but seeing this teaser⊠into it a bit. Also I think I'm kinda into the amnesia thing in fics, especially since it seems like Babe isn't gonna pretend they don't love each other or something like that | 250413: been getting to pit babe more and more ngl⊠i didn't love the show when it aired but i was still fond of charlie/babe + ofc my beloved Kenta. been seeing edits and stuff on tiktok. and even skimmed through the first 11-ish chapters on wattpad lmfao | 250731: I don't think it had the most well-received ending but oh well, I'll still give it a try I think
Lost Interest - Nov 8: I haven't heard good things about this season and I wasn't going to watch it initially until I got into Charlie/Babe again in the middle of the year. I skimmed juuust a bit of their scenes in ep 11 and 12 to get bits and pieces of the trope I'm kinda into and I think that's enough lol Hopefully I'll watch GBYFD next year and love it.
