When you say a fandom is dead, it’s a bit of a blow to people who are still producing and enjoying work for that fandom. You’re basically saying what they’re doing doesn’t matter, doesn’t count, which might discourage them from continuing to participate.
If one person is creating content, the fandom isn’t dead.
If one person is consuming content, the fandom isn’t dead.
If two friends are chatting on skype about their OTPs, that’s fandom.
If someone doodles drawings of their favorite characters on a napkin, that’s fandom.
Just because someone is producing content for one fandom doesn’t mean they have to leave another.

tales of food is and has always been bad for multiple reasons (but mostly because it's made by tencent and not funtoy)
tencent isome of the companies responsible for ai-generated art AND also developed the technology that allows facial recognition that the police can use
tale of food is a boring game as well amd lacks the range of stories that food fantasy touches such as trauma, abuse, and even discrimination that food souls will face AND food fantasy just has far more interesting characters and includes a range of global food (both western and eastern) where as ToF is exclusively chinese cusuine

This post was mainly a quick reminder for the tag because not everyone follows this blog and would rather browse the tag.
Most of the sourced information can be found in past posts of my blog. (Difficult find on mobile unfortunately). This one being the main source from CN players who have experienced it firsthand.
My blog was contacted to relay this information to the english playerbase because there's difficulties in communicating between CN and Global players. Translating is not my main thing, but this was an uproar over in Weibo and not fake claims (if anything, the person's post could be taken down due to the power that Tencent has in Weibo already).

As for googling other sources, it's not that easy because Tencent has the power and money to control articles as well. For fuck's sake, they can take down posts, hide information, and undo dislikes using money. Not only that, but Tencent supports officiers/militants during the Hong Kong Protests. My blog has untagged posts about why Tencent is bad and should not be supported. They don't provide the direct sources you want, but the notes will contain more information.
Also Tales of Food is just a low blow. They are literally bribing en players to pre-register by offering expensive products like SK-II as a contest reward. It's completely unrelated to the game's contents. (It's more appropriate to offer ingame currency as a way to avoid collecting real mail addresses).
Also, you really decided to out yourself like that.
