he’s pouring coffee when she finally walks into the kitchen. “you shouldn’t bring mundanes around here.” why ben is even bothering with the attempted scolding is completely beyond him. he’s pretty sure she’s never heard a single word he’s ever said to her. not really. “most of the pack’s got a key to this place and if i gotta call a warlock to do a memory wipe on some idiot frat guy cause of you, then you’re paying the bill and warlocks ain’t cheap.” although from what he knows of their family, the rosanos probably wouldn’t have any trouble whatsoever covering the debt. is that why chiara is such a brat? ben lets out a small sound of irritation as he reaches for a box and tosses it deftly at the other wolf. “waffles. you can put ‘em in the toaster.”
she hopped up on the kitchen counter, “I don’t think that’s going to be much of a problem. I’m too enticing for them to ask questions of even notice anything out of the ordinary.” That wasn’t too far from the truth, either. All the boys she’d been on dates with had been so interested in her. She was fairly certain it was because of her accent and just being new, but she liked to think her personality was a cause as well. “If it comes to that, just call my father and he’ll take care of it,” she shrugged him off. It wasn’t like her family didn’t have the means to clean up messes. Chiara looked at the box of frozen waffles with disgust, “I will never understand why Americans are so lazy with food,” she scoffed. “This stuff is so bad for you and I can’t imagine it would taste good.” She pushed the box over to him and walked over to the fridge to gather some ingredients. “Do you want some real waffles,” she asked with a hand on her hip.
