It was one of Lily’s friends. Listen, if I knew that we were allowed to invite mates along on our holiday, you know I would have invited you, right? I definitely would have. So this is all on Lily. Well, on top of that, you’d get to see me and the Dynabros lots, and you can spend time with my dog, and I’ve always got plenty of wine about.

Well... I just did, what are you going to do about it? My ex girlfriend is a midwife, so I like to think I know a little bit about looking after people. Mainly babies and new mums, but other people, too. Hugh is definitely a third wheel, but he seems to be completely oblivious to it most of the time, which I think is why he puts up with us. Yeah, I know I’m a weirdo. Hashtag no hate.

I can’t wait to see this battle. I think all my friends are great at flirting but they won’t let me in on their secret. It’s a shame. Can we just talk about how there’s literally only 18 days left until Fall starts and this horrible Summer heat is no longer around? Cause I seriously can’t wait until I can have people come over and not be thought of as a weirdo because every single room in my house smells like Pumpkin Spice in the dead of Summer. Oh and 10 days until Cry Pretty comes out too. Not to sound conceited or anything but it’s gonna be the best album of the year. So, check that out as well, yeah?

I’m guessing you’re into Fall, huh? It is really good. Summer is my favourite, because I love getting outdoors and going to festivals and that kind of thing, but I do love the changing colours of the leaves in autumn, and getting to wear warm coats and that kind of thing. Is it really? I don’t know, I hear that Mamma Mia soundtrack is a really good album, but I guess yours will be great, too.

After being away in London for the past couple months working on my album, I thought coming out to LA to get a fresh look and to help me write more.  Hello. So, like the good person I am, I like to read up on whatever country I’m visiting and at least brush up on some of their language. This time around it’s Italian. I’ve been to Italy before so I know the basics like every human should, but I started to get into the more difficult stuff because why not, right? But, I had some free time today so I decided to go out and get some lunch for myself and try my best to order in Italian. I got to this cute little cafe right by my hotel and I was ready to impress everyone there with my sort of okay Italian, and I get up to the counter and open my mouth to speak but instead of ordering some food, I got my words twisted and said ‘your sister’s sleeping with your husband’ – how I even knew that is beyond me, but needless to say I think I might’ve caused some trouble at home for them. You think an edible arrangement will make up for it? I’m Dakota and I’m clearly not as good as learning languages as I thought.

How the fuck did you manage to end up saying that? Who told you that you were saying that? Maybe they were just messing with you. Italian isn’t too hard, really, once you’ve got the hang of a few words.

D’you ever wish that life could actually be like a musical, where people just full on break out in song and dance at every moment? I mean, it’s kind of a blessing that it’s not - because I can’t dance to save my life and would probably be ridiculed, but how cool would it be if you could end every disagreement with an angsty Rage Against the Machine song? Or break into some Eminem down at the grocery store. Anyway, I’m Evan, and I may or may not have watched too many musicals recently.

The breaking out into song, I am totally on board with. The dancing, not so much, because I’m a terrible dancer. But yeah, I want my life to be like a musical because it’s way more fun that way. Although, honestly, if you spend your time with people who want the same thing, you can do just that and start singing when you feel like it. Totally works, mate.

I will! Probably next month that is around the corner. I will try to take Meryl with me to take her mind off all the problems and bad times. So in any moment we could surprise you and visiting you both of us. Sadly, nobody have a time machine so the only solution I can think about is a third movie.

That would be amazing! I’m sure I speak for the rest of the gang by saying that the two of you shall be welcomed with open arms. We’ll have to organise something especially nice and memorable for us to do together. I’ve read some amazing concepts for wacky third movie ideas, one of which does actually include a time machine, so you never know what could happen.

It really is! Yeah, to turn it around on others with embracing that as just another human being and not just an actor, you do face difficulties in your life and nobody is perfect, so to let other people know that they aren’t alone in anything really, is amazing. Oh my gosh haha, that is totally true! I didn’t realize that. Apparently so!

And it’s important for people to remember that those who find themselves in the public eye are just as susceptible to those kind of difficulties as everybody else. Just because we sometimes get a bit of extra cash, and do the job we love, it doesn’t mean we’re all immune to our own difficulties. Spooky, right?! I never noticed it before either, until now. But it certainly makes a lot of sense, now.

Well, I mean, yeah… But then again, how many guys would wanna step in to a vacation with you and a lady? Then again, it’s you and Lily. She’s trying to convince me to move in with her in England, that’s hilarious. Of course I will, J, of course I will.

I can already name a few people who would have loved to tag along. One person even did, actually! Is she really? Don’t live with her, live with me instead. My neighbour is always baking and giving me food, which is why I’m always a little bit pudgy.
