Don’t get me wrong. I like Autumn and Pumpkin Spice just as the next person, but can we please cool it with the Fall decorations? It’s barely the end of August and we’re not even in September yet and already I see Starbucks rolling out their fall decorations and advertising their Pumpkin Spice paraphernalia early. Maybe it’s just Monday getting to me, I don’t know. Is anyone else being an Autumn Grinch or is it just me?

Wait, you actually like Pumpkin Spice? I always thought it was one of those cleverly marketed products that everyone seemed to love due to advertising, and Starbucks of course. Either way, what entails in a Fall decoration? My assumptions predict a lot of orange and red, but I could be wrong. Although I have to say, that as soon as I see that latte advertised, my love for the Autumn goes out of the window — so you’re definitely not alone, Autumn Grinch.

You know there’s nothing like a fit of laughter at the most random things, that no one else finds funny to put you in a good mood. Am I the only one that this happens to or is this common? I think if my friends didn’t love me, they would get tired of my craziness and run away. Yeah so that’s been random thoughts with Lana today. A lot of my conversations become like this. Life would be incredibly boring if we didn’t laugh a random things — perhaps it’s really crazy for people not to laugh, especially when thing just happen to... happen. Why do you want to help them so eagerly? They take what’s our, actively attempt to make it better just to pass it off as their own. Too harsh? I jest. God bless America. Let’s talk about cousins at Christmas — they’re the closest to your age and either: super successful pricks who feel the constant need to compare their life to yours and win the unspoken cousin competition; or they’re a mess and ask you to lend them twenty quids which they regularly never pay back. All right, some of them aren’t bad. Especially when they come with adorable children. Forget Monopoly, have you ever played Risk? I assure you that’s quite an experience. Christmas special are the best thing ever, though. Am I among the few who are willing to openly admit it? I’m not ashamed. Also, people who keep pointing out how much Christmas sucks. It’s flawed, sometimes an utter mess, and still one of the best days of the year. We are basically recreating Christmas on this rainy day of summer. We said the word enough times for this conversation to be considered an ad. I’d say we start with twice a month meetings, see how things evolve and decide if we should reduce them or up our game. We can’t let gin down, nor our country. It’ll be something else Americans can steal. Couldn’t agree more, we do what we have to do to live. If it involves gin tonic, even better.

I had to hold myself back from going on a rant about how the UK Office is better than the US one, but stopped before it got too serious. Why is this the entire truth? It’d be wrong to have Christmas without the Royle family special, or more recently, the Gavin and Stacey one. Exactly! Nothing can really beat Christmas. I’m currently waiting for Oreos to announce their Halloween flavor because you know they come out with the weirdest shit and it’s honestly a public service to try it and let everyone know if it’s good and awful. I haven’t really thought about my costume, but would it be bad if I went as Lara Croft? Because there’s an 80% chance i’m going to be Lara Croft. What’s Bonfire Night? You guys just sit around a bonfire? Because i’m totally down for celebrating that. That sounds so cool. I know what you’re talking about, but I really can’t give you an answer as to what happened to it. Really the only Christmas special i’ve paid attention to were when The Office did their Christmas episode. You knew you were in for something good when it was Christmas and The Office was on. They need to just come back once a year and back a Christmas special. That sounds….interesting and gross. Almost like the seasonal Oreos. I might have to make it just to know what it’s like, but end up throwing the whole thing away if it’s toxic.

Oreos do a Halloween flavour? You learn something new everyday... what strange flavours have they done in the past? I think it’s definitely part of your public services to ensure that our palates are not tainted; have you tried the kettle corn ones yet? I mean, you were Lara Croft, so it would only be fitting for people to see the costume in the flesh. Another public service, plus, you’ll save the dollars for Oreos. Pretty much, and we burn a scarecrow of the man who tried to blow up parliament, it’s very medieval. Maybe I’ll throw one this year — there is a lot of Gingerbread and Toffee Apples too, so if that doesn’t make it better, I don’t know what will. Honestly, I’m still learning the different traditions in Europe, so the US is a stretch. Ah, they were good Christmas specials, although I do hold the unpopular opinion that the UK version is better. The US one was still great though. Somewhere posted that they’d be doing some sort of reunion? But they say that about a lot of things, so we will never truly know until it happens. Again, you’ll have to be the experiment for us all, even if the toxic stuff gets thrown away... now that I think about it, they might have done an Oreo flavour in that, or was it those corn sweets everyone eats at Thanksgiving?

We should make that happen, we would be millionaires. Oh I think it is, but I might be biased since I was born there. It really is beautiful though and has some great beaches if you’re into that. Family is definitely the best part. How far of a trip is that?

Lets! We will have to meet to come up with an elaborate business plan for our success. Isn’t that the case with everyone? Although I know some people who hate their hometown, there really is no place like home truly. Beaches? Now that I wouldn’t have expected — might have to pop by when in the US next. Do you get to see your family often? It’s almost a four hour drive, but sometimes I get the train, which is a little shorter and less stressful.
