GLA/PLD Tip #1
Just stop. PLDs are the worst tanks because they can’t even do as much DPS as a DPS class, so just put it down and uninstall.

Tank Tip #3
If you’re OT, compete for aggro with the MT. Use Provoke if you have to.
Then once you get it, take a break and relax. No one else can get it now.
Healer Tip #1
Despite your role being called ‘healer’, that’s just a suggestion. It’s your job to DPS just as much as the DPS jobs, and only heal from time to time. If anyone dies it’s their fault they took so much damage anyway.
ACN/SMN Tip #1
Always let your summon do whatever it wants. If it sends an enemy flying off away from the party, that just means it can’t attack everyone for a while.
And if for some reason someone asks you to put it on Obey, make sure to remind them that you don’t have that on your hotbar, so it can’t be done.
DPS Tip #4
Always make sure you’re running ahead of the tank. It’s important to scout the area before they get there, so for safety reasons always make sure you reach enemies before they do.
Tank Tip #2
If you ever find yourself dying quickly in a dungeon, it’s definitely because the healer is bad, and absolutely never because you pulled half the dungeon when the healer was at half MP from the last encounter. They should know how to do their job better, so don’t be afraid to do what you want.
DPS Tip #3
Never fight the enemy the tank is fighting. They’re saving that one for last, so pick whichever one you want.
General Tip #2
If your party ever wipes, always vote to abandon. Whether it’s a low level dungeon or a high-level raid. Wipe? Quit. No professional Good Player should have to attempt something more than once.
DPS Tip #2
Make sure to attack all the enemies the tank hasn’t attacked yet. It’s important for them all to be properly in combat, and it’s your job to make sure this happens.
RDM Tip #1
Jolt doesn’t always give you Dualcast, and getting Dualcast at all is very intermittent, so just hardcast Verstone/Verfire.
MCH Tip #1
You see Ivan, when stand right next to tank, you will never shoot the inaccurate, because fear of being cleaved by front cone aoe.
General Tip #1
While in a duty, make sure to sprint to every encounter, especially bosses -- you wouldn’t want them to escape!
DPS Tip #1
Sometimes enemies target you for no reason. It has nothing to do with your actions or anyone else’s, so just keep fighting them and doing your best.
Ranged DPS Tip #1
If you use Refresh when everyone’s at max MP already, it’ll actually overfill the MP gauge and they’ll never run out. Ditto for Tactician.
CNJ/WHM Tip #1
If you stand closer to your target, your Stone/Stone II will hit it quicker and allow you to achieve a higher DPS.
ARC/BRD Tip #1
If you use Quick Nock on every group of enemies no matter how many there are, you can have a free hand to eat pizza.
AST Tip #1
If you give your whole party your card right after your fellow AST does, it not only gives both effects, but doubles their potency.
