What happens when you put together someone who loves to mess with people with someone who is apathetic almost to the point of no return? This mess.
At first, Red was annoyed by how Gold was unaffected by his taunting and mocking. Jay, at least, would get angry and try to attack him, but Gold would barely look up from his hands, simply rolling his eyes and ignoring Red.
It bothered Red, to say the least, but he was determined to fuck with Gold’s day. So he kept following him around, doing things to mess with him, getting more and more frustrated with each passing day.
He’s... unsure of when his feelings changed, but he first noticed it when Gold finally showed anger. For the first time, and for a simple reason, no less. All Red had remarked that Gold had a face that not even his mother could love.
And
Gold was pissed, to say the least.
Instead of feeling triumphant, as he should have, he felt... something while looking at Gold’s face. The urge to lean a bit closer, to fill the gap between them, to have Gold pull at his shirt-
Red.exe has stopped working.
Needless to say, Red avoided him for a few days after that. And he was planning on doing so more. At least until he figures out where that came from. But, as he watches Gold from a distance, thinking back on those thoughts...
I’m still getting back into writing again myself, but the thing I believe is most important is that you don’t stress yourself out trying to write down your ideas. Don’t push yourself to come up with the ideas; maybe try playing them out in your head like a scenario. That’s what helps me!Â
