As we all seem to be pretty busy this time of year, I'll be lenient of absences for a while longer. I myself am finding it difficult to keep up with things, hence the reason I will be appointing Heather as Mod .2.
As soon as February comes around, I will return to the three-day-rule.
Starting from the 5th of January, I will be beginning to crack back down on absences. Unless you have stated otherwise, those who spend more than three days absent will be unfollowed and their characters re-opened.

Angeline is a young dhampir that was raised within the Keepers. Though she has a lot to learn in regards to social norms, the aspiring Guardian has come a long way since leaving her family to become the protector (and roommate) of the Moroi princess, Jill Dragomir. Always keen to learn and protect, Angeline can be seen as somewhat of a selfless character, though it is obvious that she can still be rather childish and inconsiderate at times, most likely due to her up brining. She has a strong sense of friendship and family, and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep those she cares for safe. Usually acting without thinking, Angeline has become rather well known for being hot-headed and easily excited. During her stay in Palm Springs, Angeline had a lot of difficulty recognizing boundaries – for example, showing her affection for Eddie by rubbing up against him at any given moment, despite the fact it made him uncomfortable. Soon enough, however, being around the others helped her learn; so much that she is able to almost blend in completely – unless, of course, someone sneaks up on her.

Eddie is a dedicated, yet fun-loving, young dhampir whose known to be a little overprotective at times. He’s passionate and caring of others, but a little harsh on himself; always trying his hardest at everything and blaming for things that are out of his control. Because of his determination to become a great Guardian, Eddie finds it a little difficult to make friends, too busy worrying about his charge – and the girl he has a crush on – Jill Dragomir. Unless you’re a threat, he’s a very friendly person, known to be loyal, funny, and mature.

Aislinn was born into a poor household in 1920. Due to their poor economic status, her family was very tense, and they weren’t very kind to one other, focusing more on survival. When she was seventeen, her fiancé Jason was drafted into the Second World War. He was killed almost immediately. Distraught with grief, she stabbed herself, taking her own life. She remained in Limbo for years, until one day, out of the blue, she appeared in Westwood. She doesn’t know why she was sent back to Earth, but she wasn’t happy about it.
She is very snarky and unpleasant upon first meeting, but she quickly warms up to others. She is very intelligent, her mistake in taking her life making her wise beyond her seventeen years. She does not dwell on her mistake though, preferring to move forward, at least as much as she can. She’s a very lonely person who would make a loyal and trustworthy friend.

All through Annabelle Leslie’s life she’s been underestimated. She was a smart young girl, who lived her life with an internal monologue, never saying much. It wasn’t that she was shy, it was because she had grown up within the town, witnessing the judgmental nature of others. Why bother speaking up if no one was really going to listen? The only person she really spoke to was her childhood friend, Lisa Gordon, and the most important person in her life; her younger sister, Katie.
However, once she reached sophomore year, she branched out a little more – no doubt due to the fact she had become quite the attractive young woman. She began being invited to parties; began making friends with people other than Lisa; and even began dating. But, just as she was beginning to flourish, tragedy struck. A car crash that claimed the life of her younger sister. She had been driving her down to the clearing within the forest they both had used for picnics every first Sunday of the month when another car had come from nowhere and pushed them off the road, and into a tree. Katie didn’t survive the impact. Annabelle did, though she soon came to wish she hadn’t, for it came apparent that the car accident had been no accident.
Having been taken from the wreckage by a strange man and chained up within his strange laboratory, Annabelle was subjected to numerous amounts of tortures. Experiments, rape, physical abuse. She almost lost herself. One day, when she awoke after a brutal experimentation preformed by the one she had come to know as The Professor, she felt… different. Powerful. She broke free of his captivity and escaped. And now she is trying to blend back in to her hometown of Westwood.
Possesses the strength and bloodlust of the strigori, but the sanity and life-force of the moroi, and the ability to walk in the sun from her human origins.
The witch blood within her system granted her the ability to perform magic; though it only extended to blood. She can control blood as if it were an element of the moroi.

Once upon a time, Richard Neville was a famous Alchemist; well known for his knowledge and teachings of vampire biology. He studied the nature of all vampire types; Moroi, Dhampir, and even Strigoi. Figuring out the way they ticked was his life goal. Halfway through his studies, the Professor began to drift off from the Alchemists; began to hide things from them. His secret? Strigoi blood. It fascinated him; the way it pumped through their veins without a heartbeat; the way it kept them living without being alive. He wanted to find out what made them tick. He wanted to become as strong as they were. So, when he was 35 years old, he paid a strigoi named Oscar van Hansel to Awaken him.
During his earlier life, Richard was raised like many Alchemists; with strict rules, vast knowledge fed to him like milk, and intolerance to vampires. Though he was somewhat of an unattractive character, the professor was still rather popular with his fellow Alchemists; earning himself a lot of friends until his obsession with Strigoi set in.
Now, being Strigoi, he has dedicated his immortal life to creating the perfect vampire – using the knowledge of vampire DNA his advantage. Most of his experiments have been failures; until recently. After having snatched a young girl from the instigated car accident, the professor had his coven members deliver her to the cottage located in a forest a way away from civilization he uses for his laboratory. Endless tortures were inflicted upon her – much as they were his other experiments – but this time, she did not die. The experiment had been a complete success. The girl – known from then on as First – had been a mix of witch blood, strigoi blood, and moroi blood. But, ultimately, the professor had forgotten something. First had a mind of her own; and a family she was despite to get back too. She broke free of his captivity, killing twenty of his men as she escaped into the morning sunlight. Richard will find her. He will.
