Last episode it was revealed that

people in the mines end up crazy (or meet the mothmen)

(this does explain how Charles ended up that insane seemingly out of the blue)

the miners that worked the mines before closing -what seems like decades ago- all work as truckers today

it's likely that the lonely highway killer is actually a group (or a family)

This could totally mean that the dead trucker guy, despite his young looks, is an old ex-miner, time's wonky here - or his family is. Maybe he was the only actual 'killer' in the group and the others 'only' abduct women to bring them to the mothmen.

(Maybe Polly comes back with a mothbaby twin pregnancy?)

Love this theory. And maybe the trucker guy was released from prison years ago before he became a trucker. That might explain why he's young.

Yes, maybe he's not a mothmen-miner-trucker, just a crazy killer-trucker.

He knew some details about Polly (blue eyes and that infinity tattoo, going by Patsy) but it's quite likely he just guessed them? (I think her eyes were actually green and Alice has that tattoo - it's likely he'd come upon a missing person flyer for Polly and remembered that when he saw Alice's tattoo.) Or maybe she really is dead ;__;

In any case other abducted women could be with the mothmen and be fine (though hallucinating due to CO-poisoning). And maybe so is Polly, living her best life so far as the Mothmen Queen.

@orangenfrottee Yes! The way he followed Betty with the chainsaw, it seemed like he would have killed her, like, just like that. Polly sounded like she was in spaceship, but Betty could have died then and there.

I think Polly and Alice's eye color is similar. Bluish-green or something, (but not exactly green like Betty's...) And the infinity tattoo, and hair color. You're right! The trucker guy seemed to guess what he said about Polly from Alice.

Ugh, the secrets the trucker guy took to his grave! 😂

But then, I think everyone knew Polly/Patty. She fits in with people wherever she goes. So he could have known her, too. But guess we'll never know now 😞...

I doubt Polly is dead, 'cause after the last episode, I'm doubting Glen. If he's not the killer (which I hope) and if he's abducting women with his team to keep them safe...? he could know where Polly is.

Gosh, 😂 I can so imagine Polly living her best life as Mothman Queen. Imagine when Betty finds her, she be like, "I'm saving us, Betty. I'm saving Riverdale." But of course, given the Mothman isn't imaginary. Then I'm curious to know who the Mothman is, or who's impersonating him. If it's someone Polly knows... a Ghoulie... a trucker... ghost of Jason? 🙊
