Realised I'd not done any non-pixel digital art for a hot minute, so I spent a little time drawing Best Stardew Boy rescuing a frog and having a lil cry because he's so smol and green and freg

Sentinel Prime repaint: WIP update!!

So very nearly done repainting him, with just his wings and energy bits left to go! Am very tempted to try making something to stick in one of his boots to make him look like he's flying, like a a jet of energy or something, but I'll have to get around to that later :p

Sentinel Prime figure repaint: WIP

Time for a WIP update on Sentinel Prime! Looks pretty good so far, minus the lack of head, plus I've got a neat action pose in mind for him, which should help with the highlighting steps.

Custom Thundercracker

After a good long while, my first custom transformers repaint is complete! So happy with how Thundercracker turned out in the end and so fired up to do my next one! Like I'm so happy with him, I can't stop picking him up and checking him out from different angles!

And as a little point of comparison, here's custom Thundercracker posed up alongside the original Starscream figure he started out as. While I do have plans already as of who I'll be customising next, these two stood next to each other really make me want to make a Skywarp to join them!

Still a tiny bit left to go, but here's my custom Thundercracker so far!

Still got to get those metallics nice and highlighted, plus the visor needs brightening up, but the finish line is in sight!

Quick update on custom Thundercracker: it's going real good! Still a long way to go, but the base colours have all been applied, meaning I have a long journey of highlights, edge highlights and nicks and scratches ahead of me!

Cracked on with the sprayprimer today and gave Thundercracker a nice coat of Army Painter Black, which I'm relieved the Blokees plastic took really well!

Also, because I forgot to post him before, here's the lil bit of putty sculpting I did for his visor!

Had a bunch of Transformers stuff arrive today, including model kits for Best Prime: Sentinel Prime, Starscream (soon to become Thundercracker) and a sick new Cybertronic Spree t-shirt!

I'll try to keep posting the process, but this Starscream kit will be my first attempt at customising a Transformers figure, so wish me luck :p

it's been a while. alas, the nonsense continues!

today: everybody's least favourite shark learns he is rather aerodynamic. A group of school children learn the coolest way to travel. And Viras learns that there are benefits to being allies with someone who: a). thinks they are the single coolest, strongest, smartest, and most beautiful being in existence, b). is strongly disliked by the vast majority of individuals unlucky enough to encounter them, and c). is desperate for someone to agree with them on point a).

Commission: Slaine, The Horned God

And that's another commission piece wrapped up! It still feels kinda weird working on larger display figures (this lad was almost 10" tall), but it feels really rewarding to pull something of this scale together!

Three close-ups of his face, fancy belt and orc trophies. Kinda want to find a figure of this scale for a character I'm into, because there's just something neat about working on this scale that I haven't felt with smaller stuff before! That being said, 3d printing this entire boi was hell lmao.

Commission WIP: Slaine the Horned God

Been a while since I posted some commission work, right? Well here's some WIP of Slaine, a character originally from 2000AD comics.

Kinda making a real habit of painting huge models, as this guy stands just shy of 10" when he's fully assembled. Still got a fair way to go, so expect some updates over the coming days!

Folks, I've gotta be real with you for a sec: I haven't played 40k or bought any warhammer models in a long while, but god damn do the new corsair eldar models they've been showing off stir something in that Exodite heart of mine!

I know I likely wouldn't ever play any games with the damn things, but god do I want to turn these into the newest additions to my Exodite war host!
