i've been taking a vacation from shows that make me too sad/serious because i'm really not coping well with some of the things in my life and i can't really take any extra negativity right now :(

i haven't watched the latest spn, for instance, and i'm sure that i will. right now i'm watching teen wolf and pushing daisies and fluffy things like that.

fullmetal alchemist manga moments → this is one of my favorites scenes in the manga so far. the way izumi treats this girl and the way she explains things to her is really on-point; izumi doesn’t lie to her or try to sugarcoat the topic, she just calmly tells menny what happened. if you’ve ever worked with children, you know this is a good way to handle it for a kid her age. although she acts very exasperated with the kids that are always asking her to fix things, you can tell she softens around them. i think izumi would’ve been a great mom :)

That’s how you fucking do it. You don’t tell kids “they’re going to sleep for a long time” or “they ran away” when a pet dies. You fucking let them know what DEATH is and you let them know that Death is permanent. Especially if a person they love had died.
