#I call for an episode #where the fandom for chuck’s books decides that dean’s low self esteem isn’t gonna fly anymore #so they lure him to a /you totally don’t suck/ party #and there’s balloons that say #/hey you even saved the world… so there’s that/ #and people just come up and touch dean’s cheek and say /thank you/ #and at first dean thinks it’s the stupidest most stupid thing ever #but as person after person comes up to him and thanks him for what he’s done #tells him that what he does is important and means something #and he realizes that these people who he’s never met #actually know all about what he does #they know the whole goddam story #and even though he never asked to be thanked #never asked for any kind of recognition #he’s getting it anyway #and something in his chest shifts #and a tiny voice in the back of his head pipes up and whispers #maybe you /are/ worth it
