James Frain burst onto cinema screens in 1993's Shadowlands. Straight out of drama school, this lad gave the intelligent and insightful performance of a veteran to the screen. Since then, he has never looked back and gone from strength to strength. It is rare to see an actor maintain the versatility, freshness and energy of the latest new star after nearly 30 years in the business. So, dive on in and help celebrate this talented, awesome and possibly slightly demented man.

July 28, 1540. The execution of Thomas Cromwell. It took me a few goes to like this Thomas. Nothing wrong with James’s performance, just the weird way Cromwell was written for The Tudors. Not that I would call The Tudors accurate history in any way, shake or form. I ended up loving it in the end.

BBC announces casting for new legal drama Showtrial from producers of Line of Duty

Doctor Who's Sharon D Clarke and Star Trek: Discovery's James Frain are among the cast announced.

Some new work for James. This promises to be an outstanding series.
