Withered flower petals, pearls covered in blood, what more could one expect from the graceful prince of chaos? I've always been a huge fan of Zarbon, so I thought it would be interesting to portray him with this dark side of him. Many times he is shown as a mere victim of space conquest or of the Emperor Freeza's own hand, but in many of these interpretations his great ambition for power and beauty is forgotten, plus his eternal love for war regardless of the lives that these battles are claimed. So this was more of an attempt to portray the image of him as one of the fearsome villains of the interplanetary trade organization. Hope you like it,,💚💕
So, it really doesn’t look like Freeza will be appearing in Dragonball Super: Super Hero
But you know who is?
Broly. And we know our Emperor has big plans for him. It’s all about the future, Freeza fans!
I know it’s disappointing but think how much Freeza content we’ve gotten since 2015. It’s been awesome! In the meantime hopefully he’ll appear in the Granolah the Survivor arc in the manga. I think we can only expect more Freeza goodness in the future! I’m excited!
Can you please talk about what you like about Frieza?
Simply put; in a sea of Shonen villains with tragic backstories, 'higher' motives, and general excuse-having... I love that Freeza is just evil. UNAPOLOGETICALLY evil. He doesn't need a reason to do what he does, he doesn't seek justification for his actions. He will torture an enemy for fun, commit genocide on a whim, and think nothing of it. Not because he was 'broken' in the past, not to achieve some perceived form of higher justice, or the ends justifying the means... but just because he can. Because his victims were beneath him. Because he was just in a mood. No attempts at justification or sympathy, just... because. That is a kind of villain I can appreciate, and one I find lacking in a lot of fiction. I also think it makes him an excellent foil to Goku, who has the opposite approach to suffering. Seeing it makes him exceptionally angry. Causing it makes Freeza exceptionally happy. Similarly, Goku relishes a challenge in order to test and better himself. The same thing outrages Freeza to his core. They're natural nemeses to one another, equal but opposite forces in that regard.
