My sad ass knows a good 80% of frieza fics, so Iām gonna compile my personal favorites! I am a godless being and have no bounds. A lot of these fics ive read awhile ago, but Iāll try and remember the plot and things that took place. Anyways,
Yamza:
Red Currant - Basically the main character (imo) of Yamza fics. I remember staying up late just to finish this novel-like storyline. Honestly forgot what the plot was but I do remember a cute and wholesome ending. This fic also has a few sequels after the main story ended, so thereās also that to look forward to! I just know itās very good so pls read ā”

Half a World Away - If Red Currant is the main character, then HAWA is its main supporting character/lead. I honestly mixed up the two because of similar chapter length and the fact that I stayed up and read this fic for days as well. This fic is basically Yamcha and Frieza blind e-dating. I love the slow burn and the fact that they have no idea about the otherās identity which makes it even more of an enticing read.

Free Of Charge - I specifically like this fic bc of its different take on writing Friezaās character and his position/role. Itās a little out of character but due to the circumstances and setting of this fic, it works out and is honestly a refreshing take on his usual, one-way street characterization. Itās an ooc way of writing him that doesnāt annoy/irk me and thatās a very good thing because I typically hate an OOC Frieza.

In Discordant Equilibrium - Honestly one of my favorite fics of all time. If Iām going to be bold, I will say that this is the main character of the entire Dragon Ball fanfiction community, argue with the wall. Kidding, but seriously. This fic is just.... beyond words, it changed my life and cleared my skin. It delved deep into depth about Friezaās character and I think thatās what I loved most about it really- The easy way to win me over is 1. slow burn and 2. Make a deep mental analysis about x character. This fic is amazing, long, slow burn I think? And just beautifully well written. Not enough words can be said about this one.
