One of the reoccurring stories I’ve been told in my life is that I’m “the problem” — the one that’s too emotional, too energetic, too expressive.

“Whatever her mood is, that’s the mood of the house,” my mom always said when I was young.

But what if I’m not the problem?

What if I trigger those around me because they are so suppressive and out of touch with their own emotions that mine seem completely overwhelming?

I am learning to love myself completely and I am honestly so grateful I get to go through life with such a wide range of emotions.

My life experience is so much more vibrant and vast because of my emotional capacity.

My emotions help me empathize and connect with others.

Yea, maybe it’d feel more consistent with less emotional energy but I am not here for consistency. I am here to experience all that I can in this time space reality.
