I'm happy to announce that I will be launching my website in a few weeks. After years of working locally, I have made the decision to show my art to the rest of the world! My son is a great help building the site, I couldn't do it without him.

Overstimulation has always been detrimental to my work, a peaceful quiet and maybe some bird-noises are the best work environment I could wish for. Good thing is there is plenty of that were I live.
Some very quick sketches off birds hopping about, drawn from life. Camille Pissaro: "It is only by drawing often, drawing everything, drawing incessantly, that one fine day you discover to your surprise that you have rendered something in its true character."
“Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen.” ― Leonardo da Vinci pencil on a page from my sketchbook. Maybe it's a good day to dust off some poetry books I haven't had a good look at it in some time..
A statue I drew when on vacation in beautiful Bruges, Belgium. The good thing about statues is that they don't mind being drawn and tend to be great at holding a pose!
When drawing people without having them notice, avid readers are a godsend.
