Ā Ā Ā Rey walked into the large BX, in her forestry colored cammies. Taking a soft inhale of the cool store she gazed around spotting a bundle of Maines flinching slightly as she recognized one, tall, muscular with an accented tone.. Commander Ren. Next to him a slightly smaller female next to him, Corporal Kibaz, someone she heard about often him her friend Captain Phasma who had her girlfriend, Elise next to her.. Snorting to herself she rolled her eyes before walking from the entrance and wandered to the electronic sections. Eyes wandering the shelves of chargers she clicked her tongue as she grasped a portable car charger and then made her way up to registers that were filled with people. Taking a moment to stop and scan the lines she found a short one and sighed in relief, she wanted some time to get lunch before going back to work. Once her turn she was met by a young male, dark skinned with a soft gentle smile, his small name plate read āFinnā. āWell this Finn is rather cute..ā Rey mentally noted. Placing her item down he slid it over the scanner āID please?ā He said softly. Taking out her ID she offered it towards him, it only took him a moment before he nodded and smiled. āHey.. You look familiar Iāve seen you with Phasma a couple of times.ā He said. Rey perked up slightly āOh yeah! Phasma is just a buddy of mine.. I donāt hang around her much anymore because ofā¦-ā She slowly trailed off, obviously annoyed by the thought. Finn waved his hand off āOh Ren? Pfff him and Phasma always double date with each other now.ā Rey let out a small scoff āHim?? A girlfriend?? Yeah right!ā She said shocked and looking at Finn with her jaw ajar in disbelief. Finn nodded, āYep.. Kibaz. Sheās cool her and Elise are close- Oh yeah.. Iām Finn.ā He said putting his hand out to greet Rey. She smiled and shook his hand āRey Skywalker.ā She introduced. Finn smiled softly āHey Iām actually on break.. Wanna hang around here?ā He asked, hoping sheād say yes, with the way her hair was neatly tied up with stray strand and how her eyes glowed with emotion. āOf course! I go back to work in an hour though so I was going to grab some food, I can pay.ā She said. Finn bit his lip and shook it head, āOh no no please itās fine. Iād feel bad anyway..ā He said shaking his head. Rey chuckled and playfully nudged him āSeriously itās fine Finn! I get payed enough to buy two things.ā She said grinning sweetly. Finn huffed āFine.. Only because I donāt want to argue with a military member.ā He said raising an eyebrow. How had he not introduced himself to her before?? Phasma always spoke about her and even offered many times to introduce them but he always denied. āIām an idiot..ā He said to himself feeling a slight flicker of annoyance to himself. Rey bought two subs and two large drinks and handed Finn his share before taking a seat inside the sun-basked portion of the food court. āYou know the Captain eh? She is social Iām surprised she hasnāt forced us us to talk.ā Rey said sitting back slightly and looking at Finn who laughed awkwardly āAhh.. I guess after what happened with Ren.ā He said rubbing the back of his neck. Rey growled softly āHeās a total fucking dick! I have nothing against the USMC Hell I even wanted to join.. Heās just an excuse of a person.ā She sighed slightly before calming herself down. āI wonāt ask what happened as I can take a guess.ā She soothed softly Ā feeling guilt, it was obvious Finn was truly a good person. He gave a light smile and put his hand over hers. āHey! Its no trouble, Its not like we canāt ignore him.ā Finn winked before sitting back again. Rey chuckled warmly, feeling an emotion spark inside her, something she never felt before, an emotion she couldnāt guess. The two shared a few facts about them, getting to know each other better.. Finn could his heart swell, someone finally understood how he felt about certain things and actually agreed with him for once instead of hearing swearing and having to bicker about pointless things. āFinn youāre pretty cool Iād love to hang out more.ā Rey said, cutting Finn out of his thoughts. He blushed slightly and smiled āOf course! Iām off this weekend if you wanna do something, I hear the State Fair is going start this Friday so thatās something we can do.ā He offered, taking out his phone āHere put your number in I can tell you whenever.ā He said, Rey took his phone and typed in her number before sending a message to him for him to add her. Rey smiled softly and nodded in agreement, āHell yeah! I never been so this is a new experience for me.ā She said standing up and grabbing her wallet. Finn stood up with her and grinned āNever? This will be fun!ā He said joyously before he felt Rey hug him. āSounds good!ā She said then pulling away before rubbing her neck. āSee you then Finn!ā āYeah! You too!ā He called watching her leave.
