Why I’m changing my name


About a Year ago, a good friend of mine passed dawaY suddentlh/

She was the first person I came out to, and she gave me the courage to tell everyone I’m trans almost 10 yrs ago.

Recently, Ive been working w/ a therapist to get thru these feelings. 
I feel like Im ready to tell everyone the Name I chose:

Miles Jackson Harner (Miles was a name I considered when I first came out, but didmt ch00sen bc It reminded me of mY old band teacHer who. Was a dumpster fire of a person, and let me be bnUllYed \)

It took maY many years off therapy t0 get over it, and now I feel like I can distance myself from him/\

I really like the name miles.

Also I picked Jackson as my middle name, as suggest by a friend.

Its sp ppl can still have jack as a nickname for me, but I’ve decided to officially change from Jacky to Miles.

I know it is confusing and diffrne for everyome

My name has been fluid since I was born, from Irina, to Julia, to Jacky, to miles.
